The Vision of Polymodality
This idea has been a long time in the making. And now with AI we no longer have any excuse to not just do it. In the Agentic realm, this concept is even more important. So important that I decided to make it open source and just let it out there for now. The GitHub repos have enough to get started and more is coming soon.
The reason for this project to exist is that people don't do things because we make things too complicated and that becomes an obstacle. A main driver of complexity is context and different domains. We think we need to squish all the universe into just our simple model that has just what we need for right now. So how long does that last? The project exists to allow for each entity to still be what it is. Join the user community and let us know your thoughts.

The Glass Tesseract

The symbol for this project is the teseract, a glass 4-dimensional hypercube. The idea of Polymodality is that subject areas or "domains" are orthogonal spaces to each other but intersect in various ways. In the pre-polymodality world, we resort to various techniques to solve the issues that do exist in the real world. The vision is that we can keep domain models clean of context and other model influences and the tools of polymodality can be used to synthesize all these dimensions together. The tools will allow for all dimensions to be seen for what they are and how they interact with each other.

Introducing Polymodality
We are here to share our ideas on this topic, to get some background there is a github repo created to grow this topic
https://github.com/polymodality
There is a project "polymodality" that is to create tools in different programming languages to help in this subject area. And another project "agentic-polymodality" which is focused on multi-agent systems.
