New Render Pipeline and macos

I guess this is the best place to reach devs. The new pipeline has been enabled by default for the past week, so i'm worried the old one is getting removed. Please don't do that! the fps difference is too big. On mac m1 pro i get 60-80 fps with the old pipeline, which is pretty good (and probably the cheapest way to play rust these days lol). With the new pipe it drops to 40-50 (i'll try to attach screenshots, check the numbers on left bottom corner)
So, yeah, rust on mac has always been kinda a pain in the ass. Textures not loading sometimes, sometimes you have to relaunch your game (you cant awake), but at least i don't need a separate pc (look at 3 pic for example)

But, anyway, thanks for any optimizations over last two years, I started around 40 fps and its gone up by 50% today

That's weird i've been getting like 20-30 more fps since the update. I'm on a M1 as well. What settings do you play on?

I've definitely been getting visual freezes that make me restart tho. Like random textures that make my shit lock up.

Been getting horrible game freezing this update, I hope they fix it soon.

On minimum all settings that matter, im sure the billions of wild cow's breeding dont help though

It's supposed to increase performance. Maybe that doesn't translate to Mac, or maybe (like always) a feature that's supposed to improve it decreases it lol.

I tried it on PC and my performance dropped and I got visual artifacting.
