Where can i find Planar Standard players?
Hi there! I'm making this thread for those searching out other Planar players.
By far the easiest way to find people is to join our Discord, we have a dedicated Looking for Games channel, where you can find a match at any time, or Choose your client beforehand, so that you can also be alerted whenever someone else is looking to play.
Want to play multiple rounds of Planar with different people? Join our Weekly practice tournaments! You'll find those on the Discord as well, here's a schedule for those planned in the month of October 2026.
Looking for a tough challenge with real stakes? Join our free entry Monthly Championship and compete to etch your name in our leaderboard and win actual prizes provided by the community!
Don't have a Discord account? Feel free to share your handle and platform of choice in this thread, so that other players can challenge you when the chance arises!

What platforms are popular? I enjoy Tabletop Simulator for commander and am hoping there's people who use that for this

Arena is the most popular platform, with a smaller recurring Cockatrice community. There aren't a lot of Tabletop Sim players atm, but we have an LFG role for it on Discord, so you can check if anyone wants to play a game on it anytime :D.

Is this format still using Discord to organize games? The invite linked in this post seems to be invalid (possibly expired)

Thank you for updating that! Is the new one non-expiring? And would it be appropriate to add it to the About section of the subreddit?
