Caught bubba deep in thought??? I guess??

Hi everyone! I am 85% sure I am going to be adopting a beautiful white 6 month old dollface Persian on Saturday. She’s $600, which seems like a more than fair price, from a family whose cat spontaneously had kittens. They’ve been more than communicative, honest, shared her vet records, etc. I am very excited at the opportunity, and the situation has honestly worked out perfectly, however, I just want to make sure I fully understand what I am getting myself into before I take this baby into my home!

For context, I am a first-time pet owner, but have always grown up and been around pets. We had cats and dogs, inside dogs and mainly outside cats. I was originally looking at ragdoll‘s because I was really intrigued by their calm and docile temperament, but I was approached about a Persian and I have honestly fallen in love. From what I read, they seem to have the same type of lazy/calm behavior. I live alone in a studio apartment and work from home 5 days a week and am home nearly 24/7.

I’m looking for any advice + things you wish you would have known + what you reccomend as a must have for her supplies! 🤍

I am wondering how much bigger he’ll get! He is 7.5 lb now.

Been a proud Persian cat owner for 6 years. She is the runt of her litter and is a joy.

I was wondering how you keep up with the maintenance of the little guys (eyes, ears, toes, etc)!

I used to take her to a groomer, but will probably start doing that at home now as costs rise (I’ve been grooming her since she was a baby so this shouldn’t be a problem).

Do you have a tracker for care and/or suggestions for brushes/materials or anything? I was thinking I could put together a care kit with all of her things in it (nail clippers, cotton balls, etc).

She probably thinks I'm standing behind the glass door and only realizes her mistake at the very end.

I adopted my sweet Persian Moira from this rescue and continue to donate monthly (they are amazing, love them), so every once in a while I pop on to see who is up for adoption. This absolutely adorable bonded pair is looking for a home.

I call her the lady become I still don’t have a name for her! If you have a idea for the name please tell me because Im bad with names.
She was so scared the night she arrived and in just 12 hours she is much more comfortable with me.
I was in my bed resting and all of the sudden she jumped and greeted me 🌸🤧
