Help Peggle 2, 360, playing on xbox one

Recently got gamepass again and saw that games I downloaded over 10 years ago were available to me to redownload. Peggle 2, doom 2 and borderlands 1. They boot up as 360 games, kinda cool!

Peggle 2 won't let me do local multiplayer. I remember this at launch and how it was added later, and mine has a local option, but it wants player 2 to sign into an Xbox account. I can usually get away with "guest" when we play goat simulator or something similar. But peggle 2 doesn't give this option. Am I out of luck? I understand local couch multiplayer is going away but some games are just good!!

You just have to make another xbox account. And you're playing the 360 version. There was a separate Xbox one version

Right but the Xbox One plays older 360 games. From what you're saying is you have to create a separate account and pay?

Don't fret, I doubt you'd have to pay anything. I think what you need is to just create an extra user on the console and it should work out. If it demands another account, making a second one and not paying a dime should do the trick

Wait! I need to ask you something-

Does Peggle 2 on the 360 come with the 2 extra DLC characters for you (the wind fairy and Jimmy Lightning)? Does the shop icon still say "Coming Soon"? Im trying to find evidence regarding whether or not the DLC ever existed for the 360 version but only now have I found somebody with a legal copy I can talk to in order to verify that

Ahhhhh.... thank you for letting me know. In that case, yeah, I guess they never released the DLC for the Xbox 360 version of Peggle 2. I could never find a concrete answer for this question on the internet, so I hope that this reply changes this for any other Peggle enthusiast that wants to know
