Question Why am I getting forced updates?

Even though I disabled the service for updates on my PC it still forced updates on me. I'm especially pissed off about the shitty LG update which probably contains more malicious bullshit to spy on me from my LG OLED monitor. Is there nothing I can do about this?

Install vanilla windows and only install the things and drivers you want. That takes care of LG, but you still need to deal with Microsoft - you can also solve those forced updates if you're feeling adventurous and want to try Linux, but start with just doing a clean install of Windows (from microsoft's site, not any LG recovery media you have).
