Question Strange noise in an EPCOM UPS, its safe?

I bought an EPCOM 1200VA UPS for my PC, but when I took it out of the box and gave it a little shake, I heard a faint noise—as if a tiny, loose part were inside. Is this normal? What could it be? I plan to return it as soon as possible, but I’m asking just in case.

so is this code for you dropped it while it was in the box and posted to reddit to establish it was broken in case they question the return.
