Build Help / Purchase Advice Trying to get into Pc gaming
Was wondering if this is a good price for the pc. I have a $400 discount as well.

no...but everything is inflated so take whatever deal you can get. For 1080P gaming you can play most games maxed out. maybe even 1440p on high settings. but no 4k gaming.

It'll do 4K/60 to 4K/120 just fine. They'll just have to lean on DLSS pretty hard.
My shittier RTX 5060 gives me 4K/90 on the 48" OLED on my desk just fine. Hell, my ancient RTX 2070 just spent seven years spitting out 4K/60 just fine.

If you have a Costco membership, you should go check physically, sometimes they got better deal in-store than online, and some display builds might be sold for ridiculously cheap if you're lucky.

That is perfectly reasonable for $1500 in today's market, and perfectly in line with what $1500 buys at Costco.
If you are going to keep shopping around, do not drop below 32GB of RAM. Do not drop below 1TB SSD. Do not drop below an RTX 5060.
As it stands, this will give you gameplay perfectly in line with what a PS5/Series will give you, at twice the framerate, or higher graphics settings.

I think you could do about the same on a 5070 and get a big boost in performance.
Otherwise, 100% agree.
