Eh, I'm sure there are more important things you can pretend to care about.

Bro, this is the r/pcmasterrace , caring about the PC platform and the companies involved in it is the thing. Telling people not to care is standard shill behaviour.

I'm not here to protect epic but there is nothing disgusting about it. They compared the new launcher with the most popular one because thats the best reference.
If they were bullshiting? Well thats a different question:)

Sure. Vibecoding is cool and hip. And not talking about comparisons

It says a lot that vibecoding is better than their current developers for the platform. If this tool gets them closer in parity to Steam, I don't see the harm since prior to this, they were hot garbage, especially on the features.

Imean its a stupid webapp. Not like steam did anything impressive. It was just working and thats it. They put the bar very low. It was on the other launchers' developers, that they were not even been able to jump the already low bar xD
Getting something better vibecoded is not rly suprising, but a statement of their own incompetence:D

It’s their idea to vibe code an already horrible launcher that’s weird and gross

My Epic launcher is non-existent on my SSD and I love it.

To post that you're deliberately launching a broken version of your product, in such a weirdly aggressive way, is just plain odd. Like Tim wrote it himself.
