Video PS5 Emulation becoming viable on lower end PCs!

Using Jetsku's KytyPS5 Fork as it has some fixes in both Astro games.

Build is an RTX 5060 + Ryzen 5 5600GT (Same performance as a 5500, 6c/12t), 16GB RAM. Game is Astro's Playroom.

It's still getting around 35 fps in the main lobby, but inside the actual levels its hovering around 45-60fps! Not sure I'd call it fully playable yet, but the progress is amazing.

More gameplay and settings used, guide (english subtitled): https://youtu.be/yMw7_cGbicw

Edit: fixed link. Meant lower end when compared to most showcases of these emulators being 5090s, X3D chips and DDR5... Better wording would be "current-generation lower end".

Also, people seem to be wildly overestimating the 5600gt. Genuinely can't run any triple-A RPCS3 game at a locked 30fps.

Oh it’s definitely accelerated due to AI but also due to GTA6. People want to play GTA6 on their PCs and are trying to find a way to do it. If a PC emulator is able to run PS operating system and I can get GTA that way… I absolutely am. Not spending $1200 on a PS5 that has a third of the power of my PC. Even if emulation takes a 50% fps loss it’s still equal for me.

30fps on a console is also just a joke. Like seriously 30fps is laughable in 2026.

Exactly why the problem of piracy has always been an availability issue. If rockstar would release it on PC none of this would be so popular. Only reason its taken so long is PS has been releasing their games on PC.
