Video PS5 Emulation becoming viable on lower end PCs!

Using Jetsku's KytyPS5 Fork as it has some fixes in both Astro games.

Build is an RTX 5060 + Ryzen 5 5600GT (Same performance as a 5500, 6c/12t), 16GB RAM. Game is Astro's Playroom.

It's still getting around 35 fps in the main lobby, but inside the actual levels its hovering around 45-60fps! Not sure I'd call it fully playable yet, but the progress is amazing.

More gameplay and settings used, guide (english subtitled): https://youtu.be/yMw7_cGbicw

Edit: fixed link. Meant lower end when compared to most showcases of these emulators being 5090s, X3D chips and DDR5... Better wording would be "current-generation lower end".

Also, people seem to be wildly overestimating the 5600gt. Genuinely can't run any triple-A RPCS3 game at a locked 30fps.

yes 300 bucks is low end if that wasnt the case middle would be a 5060 then everything above is high end which makes no sense looking at the price disparity

I feel like every comment like this should come with a disclaimer that a 5060 is low end IN AMERICA and pretty much nowhere Else.

Rússia, Japan, china and even a Lot of places in Europe most people are still rocking 3060's.

... there is a clear definition of low middle and high end. Wishful thinking on a toaster doesn't mean it's not a toaster.

Descriptions need to be universal because a 3070 in Brazil is quantum computer tier. These people review bomb fantastic games that won't give them 120fps on 5+ year old hardware.

You Guy live in a bubble and don't even realize It, yeah Man How dare people expect Devs to optimize their games to hardware released in the ancient age of 2021!!! After ALL videogames graphics have gotten sooo much better in the past few years to justify every increasing requirements right?

Why are people getting mad. xx60 series cards are low end, they have been since the 20 series. The only xx60 card that could arguably be a mid GPU at the time of release is the 1060, and that's because it could play everything well.

Nobody is calling your hardware shit bro, you don't have to froth at the mouth over it, it's just how it is. When I bought a 3080 it was an entry-level high end card. 1 generation later it is pretty much level with a 4070 so now it's considered a mid card. I wish it was still high end too, but it's not. My wishful thinking won't change that.
