Video PS5 Emulation becoming viable on lower end PCs!

Using Jetsku's KytyPS5 Fork as it has some fixes in both Astro games.

Build is an RTX 5060 + Ryzen 5 5600GT (Same performance as a 5500, 6c/12t), 16GB RAM. Game is Astro's Playroom.

It's still getting around 35 fps in the main lobby, but inside the actual levels its hovering around 45-60fps! Not sure I'd call it fully playable yet, but the progress is amazing.

More gameplay and settings used, guide (english subtitled): https://youtu.be/yMw7_cGbicw

Edit: fixed link. Meant lower end when compared to most showcases of these emulators being 5090s, X3D chips and DDR5... Better wording would be "current-generation lower end".

Also, people seem to be wildly overestimating the 5600gt. Genuinely can't run any triple-A RPCS3 game at a locked 30fps.

Well... The level of gaming integrated graphics is already somewhere around RTX 3060, thanks to AMD

This comment section is out of touch. A 5060 is absolutely low end, mind you the top of low end but its just an rtx 3070 in fps

People don't want to believe they spent 700$ for a 3070

Do yall think this is possible on a 3070 then?

A 5060 is not lower end, a 3060 is lower end. And it's what most gamers are still using.

So it's not just lower end, it's the most relevant card to be basing anything off of.

A 5060 is lower-mid end, but much much closer to mid. Some might even consider it mid range.

people downvoting because you are not sucking off modern technology and speaking how things are is crazy xd
people who think 5060 which runs literally everything at more than playable fps is lower end is actually just fucking out of touch with reality

That's pretty good. I still love using my ex 580 8gb with the nostalgic coil whine noise.

How priveleged you are to buy a new one nearly every year

I have been rocking a GTX 1060 3GB (2016 card) till earlier this year where I bought myself the Radeon 9070 16gb (2025 card) that I'll be using to play Cyberpunk 2 when it comes out in a decade

Having a 7 year old GPU is perfectly fine, but you may wanna think about upgrading to an AMD something if GPU prices ever drop, as yours is getting there

Yes, any xx60 cards are the entry level cards making them the low end of the cards. It really isn't complicated and has been this way for quite some time.

Lol my 1080 TI is practically integrated graphics as far as these damn Ray Tracing forced, Unreal Engine 5 slop games nowadays are concerned.

Cyberpunk is incredibly well optimized. One of the best.

I'm not sure that's a good measure...

I mean your card is a 7.5 year card that was midrange back then. Prices are inflated, but that doesn't change the fact that the 5060 is considered this generations low end card.
