I normally try to find a reason to give the developers a break since they’re human beings with a job and need money too, but this is bad. Anyone involved in creating and green lighting this should find a different job.
I completely agree but games like COD have proven that plenty of people care. I dont really get it, at least in something like counterstrike the gun takes up a fair bit of the screen so skins can be seen from the players perspective.
I think the people who care about these, care more about showing off to other players rather than their own enjoyment.
Their seasonal limited time packs are also only sold once and then are unavailable for ever. They had some good cosmetics but they were unavailable to use at launch and then removed instead of being unlocked. Their business model is baffling.
these days? its always been that way. i remember people killing you for taking the vehicle they were obviously entitled to way back in battlefield vietnam.
What’s sad is that it’s probably the higher ups specifically telling them to use AI. Then instead of checking anything, they just ship it. This isn’t the first time people have found bad uses of AI in DICE’s work.
If you dummies would stop buying cosmetics and getting so enamored with cosmetic changes to the game, buff/nerf weapons and just play the fucking game, we wouldn’t be in this position.
Its funny people think you can just throw a fully AI modeled and rigged character into a game like this. Clearly people just love to call everything AI these days. Also the skin with 5 pistols is literally called "Sidearm Bandit" so.

I shit you not, swear on my life, I have actually had somebody over there explain to me that the main menu "lacks emotional depth" and that they felt like the characters "have no narrative progression"
I'm still not sure whether they were a troll or not, but if they were, it was one of the most convincing ones I've ever seen
