Build/Battlestation Fiancé’s first PC was a legendary pull after initially getting a dud

My fiancé and I went to microcenter after I convinced her to return her new MacBook and join us instead. We opted for a slightly cheaper powerspec vs the one she really wanted.
We ended up returning it the same day because it was defective on first boot.
They gave us a deal on the better one she wanted. Ended up having the 5070ti 16gb oc Frieren trio limited edition gpu inside.
She is happy. Life is good. She asked me to post it and welcome her to the master race!

They gave a limited edition card as a replacement??? Why can't I have a microcenter in my hometown???

The card wasn’t a replacement. It’s a prebuilt microcenter brand and they used the gpu for the build. Pic is right after we pulled it out of the box

The Mac has it's purposes for video and photo editing. Any type of creative media is cooked in to Macintosh. My 9800x3d 5080 doesn't perform the same way my wife uses her Mac.

Convinced his GF to turn in her PC then when she picked one she liked, he told her pick another. Lmao, this poor girl is trying to appease him and can't win.

I bet the MC employee's saw some sort of interaction between the two and wanted to give her a leg up.
