They still don't have Cloud Saves or Achievement support for far too many games that support both features on Steam, GOG, and Xbox PC. When something like that is the case, it's hard to not look at the launcher as half-assed, regardless of any performance updates they do.
Wouldn't both be on the game developers? I hate the launcher and a lot of shit epic is doing but a bit disingenuous unless you are expecting epic to provide a modded version of the steam API so games can "just work" with epics cloud saves and achievements.
Why do these game developers put these features into the same games on all other platforms, but not Epic Games version? Clearly either Epic isn't making it easy for them or Epic isn't holding them accountable for releasing it without said features, essentially accepting an inferior version on their platform. Either way, it's on Epic Games to address why there is a discrepancy and correct it.
