They could have released it on PC at the same time if they cared to. They are making us wait for at least a year.

I'm already pre-coping by just assuming they will quietly stop mentioning it and then eventually pretend that a PC release was never a thing at all, like they did with the single player DLC for GTAV.

Naw.
The plan is to force a double/triple dip situation.

Release at tail end of gen. Re release for next gen and also pc.
Some ppl will either buy current console and pc later. Or current console and then next gen.
Its all counting on fomo and lack of patience for certain gamers.

GTA:O on PC is a huge market so they'd lose out in billions just to intentionally cut out PC. they always do the timed exclusive garbage to get free advertising from their "partners" and then ship the PC release once the agreement is over.

Basically every rockstar game has eventually come to PC. But it's like 3 years later and they want full price for it at launch.

It is not 3 years later, are you insane?

Do...do people think Sony develops GTA? Why would Take Two purposefully just not access the vast majority of their target market? For Reddit narrative?

They do care to, it's just an open secret that they know a significant amount of gamers double dip and buy the game twice on PC to use mods if they delay PC release a year.

*if they didn't care

They are delaying pc release solely for the revenue from Playstation sales.

Nobody would care about consoles if they didn't have exclusives (or PCs weren't that expensive)

if we truly become able to emulate GTA 6 and have a nice experience, then Rockstar can know for sure that they have lost my purchase

their opportunity is now to release it alongside the console releases, if not, then tough luck for them I'm pirating

Maybe for some people. I own a PS5 and I don't plan on buying GTA 6 until a PC release.

I don't really understand why people feel obligated not to do that. Like holy impatience.

Same. 30fps at this point is not playable for me. I don't care how good the game is.

I genuinely did buy a PS3/GTAV bundle back in the day for the sole purpose of not having to wait another year for the PC release, and I was intending to do that again this time around until I looked up what a fucking base PS5 costs these days. Crazy times we're living in.

The only way that I'd ever buy a console would be if I were being literally threatened with murder.

My last consoles were a PS2 and Xbox 360.

My plan is still to wait till GTA 6 is on sale for under $20 before buying it.

Halo 2 never came out on PS5, or any PS console for that matter.

unfathomably based take

I'll remote play it via the Xbox app before I buy a PS5... I'll actually probably wait until the PC release, but just saying..

I have a PS5 but I'm still not playing GTA6. I think I quite literally couldn't care less about it. Which I realize none of you care about, I'm just responding to the "most anticipated game of the century". Sure, for some!
