In PD2 I loved heists like jewelry store, diamond job, and bank heist that could just kinda be done with your brain off. I know PD3 doesn’t let you really control the map like you could with ECMs in PD2 but are there any heists with a similar vibe to these? Where all the effort happens in the first minute or two and the rest of the heist is carrying bags

Bought the game when it released but couldn't play due to horrible internet and PD3 having no offline mode. Installed for the second time now that I have high speed internet and I can't even get past the main menu.

Why the fuck is this game online only? I just want to play solo heists.

I feel like I really struggle to make good builds cause I have zero clue which skills are actually worth a damn. I feel like my points are spread too thin yet people will have less invested trees but put in significantly more work than I do

I really want to like this game but I'm confused by the stealth and I feel like I'm being punished for going loud too soon. I don't really want to bother with stealth for now beyond what's necessary to get the most out of going loud. Any tips?

In my case for both games the first one was the jacket character pack. In payday 2 because i had hotline miami 2 special edition and then got it in payday 3 because i was so used to having jacket as my main heister and jackets piece as my main weapon

So, I started playing payday 2 a week ago.

I have already played payday the heist, but payday 2 is very different. The objectives now depend more on your actions. Sometimes, I get stuck mid game wondering what to do now, then I can't stealth an easy bank heist, next up I cant complete any contract above hard loud.

Many guides on YouTube are outdated by now.

Hence, I need a good source for the guide which is actually updated if there is any right now. Then please tell me about the progression, and what is the meta right now, etc, basically typical questions you would hear from a newbie.

I joined a high crime spree (around 20K)
And each reward after a heist was enough to level me from 0-100. I reached 5 infamy’s in around 10 mins before the host quit. I was wondering if anyone could help me out if they have a crime spree active that’s high (10K-100K) so I can get to infamy 25 faster. Much would be appreciated!
