Anyone wanting an extremely fast method to get outta campaign, this is my over the top extreme twink build (can obv dim it down no problem and be crazy fast) and this is on HC Forbidden Rites League. Forgive the Garbo editing and half the game audio didn’t record, but was sure fun to do.

Any ideas on what to swap to from a flame blast gemling?

I’ve got like 2k div saved up and rather than finishing out the build I’d rather try something else.

Is cast on dodge ember fusillade comparable with a budget of 2k div?

If I put all my stuff in the shop and sold it at throw away prices I can probably get another 2.5k but I’m worried I won’t be able to clear 200% deli and carry 6 man expedition parties with cast on dodge ember fusillade.

It works, it feels good, I wanted to take spark out of my ball lightning coc but I might put that back in (maybe for ice nova). I don't think its final, my mageblood could be improved for example (maybe bismuth instead of quicksilver -> cast speed on rings)

Am I missing anything crazy simple here or is mageblood replacement step 1?

I have been practicing POE2 League starters for 1.0 and got around to ED/C but the damage even on god tier gear was only like 1,000,000 which sounds like a lot but with the investment required it seemed really bad. This guy has a crit version of Dark effigy for the single target and has really solid damage. I was hoping people here could figure out how to better optimize it and maybe even swap ascendancies since in POE all 3 other ascendancies are more damage.

Thoughts? Other POBs? Similar ED+C Chaos builds?

Hi everyone, I’ve started building a low-budget Gemling Permafrost character.
Right now on T12 maps, I can clear the mobs easily, but I'm having serious trouble with map bosses.

Since I don't have much Rarity on my gear, almost nothing is dropping either.

I’m currently Level 83. I haven't played the game for about a year, and it seems the Atlas juicing mechanic has changed. We used to juice the Atlas map using towers; now it looks like only the map we enter gets juiced via tablets.

Could you take a look at my character and give me some advice on what I’m doing wrong or what needs fixing?

Which items should I swap out, and what specific stats should I look for on the replacement gear?

I have a budget of 20 Divine Orbs. I’d like to stick with Permafrost for now while significantly boosting my character’s power.

Could you also share a few example item stats and their approximate market values?
It’s been a while since I last played, and the economy/prices seem to have changed quite a bit.

Knowing which base items, stat tiers, or specific attributes (e.g., high flat damage, resistances, life, spell suppression, or cooldown recovery) I should prioritize—and what price range to expect for budget/entry T14–T15 gear—would be extremely helpful.

Hello. I have been theory crafting for a while now and have been failing to piece together a build that takes high advantage of elemental archon.

I want to try and use the infernalist ascendancy with the Pyromantic Pact and Seething Body ascendancy nodes to maintain (almost) 100% uptime on elemental archon.
However I’m a severely unsure of what to do afterwards.

I don’t know what types of spell interactions i should be leaning towards, elemental archon gives buffs to all 3 elemental spell types. Increased elemental damage, Increased freeze buildup, increased flammability magnitude, and increased shock chance.
Part of me wants to try using all three at once but I fear that it may not work too well with needing infusions and what not (ontop of needing to maintain high infernal flame without going over)

I fear that my idea is much more gimmick then genuinely usable build. So I would like some advice.

(Heres some things I already know I can utilize.
With the nodes related to archon buffs at the top and f the skill tree, I can take advantage of immunities to shock, chill, freeze, and perhaps bleeding aswell.
This can let me use things like overcharge for increased magnitudes of shock without the drawback of shocking one’s self.)

Empty roar says "All Attacks count as Empowered Attacks".

Temper weapon says "While Channeling each strike of the anvil Empowers your next 3 Melee Attacks".

both use "Empowers" do they work together or not all?

I have a Spark witch with CoC comet that's really strong rn, and most upgrades I could do are worth from 1k divs to one mirror right now (like a From Nothing jewel with Coinduit). So it's really a min maxing, and I don't have time (or want to) do that, to me that build is done.

Having said that, I still want to play and was debating if it's still worth it to start a new character this late in the league where most things have become extremely expensive. I have about 700 divs to use (I have spent close to 2k on the witch, that's why I have so little to use).

I'm not there biggest fan of doing the campaing considering I have 2 hours a day to play, so it takes me 3 days to finish it, so I didn't want to waste time just to realize I can't afford another build.

What are your guys thoughts? Too late?

P.S.: I could farm for more divs, but as stated above, I don't have much time to play, so realistically, 700 divs is pretty much what I have.

I've never played minion builds before, so I'm not entirely familiar with how these mechanics work. I'm considering using Periphery and focusing entirely on scaling the Azmerian Swarm's damage, but I'm not even sure if this approach is viable. I'd appreciate some help understanding how these mechanics interact, especially from anyone who has experimented with this bow.

1. How is the minion's base damage calculated?

Does Azmerian Swarm only use the physical damage provided by the Periphery unique bow (~100 flat phys), or can it also benefit from flat phys added by other gear, such as rings or a quiver?

Living Lightning has the line "Minions convert 100% of Physical damage to Lightning damage." Does it work similarly, taking flat phys from your other gear into account, or does it only use a specific source of physical damage?

2. How do other sources of physical damage conversion interact with minions?

For example, Ice Shot converts 80% of physical damage to cold damage. If I use Ice Shot alongside Living Lightning or Azmerian Swarm, would that conversion reduce the physical damage available for the minions to convert, resulting in lower minion damage? Or do the minions calculate their damage independently of my skill's conversion?

3. Can stacking flat phys scale their damage?

If Azmerian Swarm and Living Lightning can benefit from flat phys provided by other gear (i.e. rings/quiver), would stacking enough of it significantly increase their damage? For example, could life stacking with Bursting Decay or getting high flat phys rolls on Breach rings be a viable way to scale their damage?

4. How do minion levels affect their damage?

I know that minion levels generally scale minion life, but how do they affect temporary minions whose damage is based on or converted from your own damage? Do higher minion levels provide any additional damage scaling in this case, or does their damage depend primarily on your own damage?

I'm not even sure whether this build idea is feasible, so my main goal is to understand the underlying mechanics before investing in it. Any insights, explanations, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

i played a lot of Diablo 2 and my favourite character was a Barb with the frenzy skill. i wonder, whether there is a similar build in poe2

Looking to upgrade both rings in the future and i notice Fubgun only has + cold damage to attacks.

Do we not want both + cold damage to attacks and also +% added cold damage?

I know the first priority is replacing some gear to hit max res, but so far t15s are a breeze to clear (coc has bitter dead and detonate living, not comets). The problem is that its a slog to kill bosses.

Do i just need bettet gear, replace passive nodes, or theres a spell i could add to existing thing that would do good enough damage?

I’ve already made two Warrior builds. First was a ~400 div Stampede build, but it still couldn’t handle Mirror League comfortably. I was dying all the time.

Then I tried Ignite Fire Shield Wall. Much better, but last night Trialmaster still destroyed me pretty easily.

Meanwhile, my Djinn Vassana and Monkey Huntress builds kill Trialmaster in just a few seconds lol.

Now I’m thinking about trying a Warcry Warrior Spam. However, does anyone have another Warrior build that can actually compete with Vassana/Huntress in terms of damage + survivability?

Otherwise I think I’m finally giving up on Warrior and rolling Gemling.

I cobbled together this Djinn Sorceress, after starting off contagion. I am not sure what item would give the max benefit with an upgrade. I don't have issues dying just trying to do more damage for a faster clear. I have around 500div to spend right now. Any help is appreciated.

Update: Shuffled some stuff around and this is absolutely bonkers. Key was moving Atului's Bloodletting to Oil Grenade, that was Cast Ons can eat all the mana they want, I was thinking about it the reverse way trying to minimize cast on eating mana. S/o to CaptainTaightan for helping me fix this. Definitely see why the cannon is better than the crossbow since contagion is doing way more prolif that the ignited ground ever could and you really just wanna spam that oil shit just to move faster. Thank god I didn't have to invest in actual items to do this. GAIN AS EXTRA DOES NOT FK YOUR BUILD, idk ab increased fire tho.

So, I've invested a lot into Gemling Flameblast and want to change things up a bit using Blackflame Covenant and ED/C for better clear.

I'm having trouble scaling DoT damage w/ ED ATM, I just want enough damage to instakill trash mobs while maintaining high ignite DPS with FB prolif on ignited ground to merc amanamu rares before they drop shroud. I think a new staff could help, but I plug stuff into POB and none of the numbers are changing :/

Also don't know how to work in Contagion that well, or if Withering Presence is doing anything at all. I'm guessing Enfeeble could be better than Despair on Blasphemy for survivability. Next big investment Lineage investment will prolly be Her Declaration, unless I should save money for gear swaps. I know this would be best on Runic Ward defenses but I don't want to do that much reinvestment gear-wise.

The health thing I think I can fix with more % life on kill jewels and swapping Withering Presence from Cannibalism II somewhere (still prolly gonna be sketch but o well).

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, I really want to make this work because I've gotten bored of shmegular FB but still want to farm fast so I can swap to CoD Ember Fusillade or prada's Infernalist TemBOWralis.

Started playing again made a build and farmed some currency. I want to make a new build now and I’m not sure what to play, I liked lightning spear last time I played and was wondering if it’s still good. If anyone has a build guide or Poe ninja, I would like some help thanks.

What would you guys suggest for the fastest or best mapping minion builds currently? Any guides? Why would you take the suggested build over others? (ty in advance!)
