Just curious, are luxe idols hard to resale? It feels like I see a lot more tm40s being sold than idols. I also feel like I see less listings for idols as well. I would appreciate your guys thoughts on this.

There was a paintball skit for the Jimmy Kimmel Show involving his Aunt Chippy, his Uncle Frank, and Oliver Lang that was filmed at Hollywood Sports Park in the late 2000s. It used to be on YouTube but was removed when Aunt Chippy and Uncle Frank passed away in the 2010s. Anyone know where it can be found nowadays?

Took a couple years off and wanted to dive back in completely! I’m a planet eclipse fanboy so I was looking for all their new gear (gear bags, markers, Pads). Their arm pads were simply the best for me, so I began looking for a brand new pair and I couldn’t find them ANYWHERE. I reached out to eclipse and they said they have stopped production on soft goods since Covid in order to focus on their marker production. In my ignorant opinion, planet eclipse is a big enough company to continue producing soft goods as well as markers. I think the more variety of companies making more variety of gear is best for the game! Thoughts?

Does anyone know the Oring size for a spool valve on an impulse (same as nerve/shocker from that era too)

I´m working on a custom Subplate for a MacDev Gun I'd like to use a GT solenoid for. Im looking for the screw size of the black solenoid screws. I'd guess it´s M2 but the screws are 2,1 mm wide when a measure them. so any advice would be welcome :)

If you have any knowledge into this Id be curious because Im wondering how strict these contracts are. Say with Dye contracts were the Ironmen and aftershock stilled forced to use the MXR v1 with all the problems or did they switch to a different dye marker or another marker all together? What about infamous and uprising? Could they in theory use the twister cores or the r5 method tune up kits? Or are they forced by contract to use 100% stock markers? Could any team use a private label of their sponsor's marker? Speaking only on the pro level

Just picked this up about a month ago, wasn't able to use it during the event I played recently because of the rain so I've been dying to get out on the field and use it. Only been able to run about 2 hoppers through it. Just curious what everyone running for programming settings? I've seen videos for tuning the SFR/LPR and dwell but I noticed their isn't any videos about things like the debounce/ eye controls/ ball in place timing/ empty chamber timing/ trigger decompression timing. Has anyone done anything that made a huge impact towards speeds or efficiency? Does anything like that even need to be changed on the 1.6? I changed all of those things on my AXE 2.0 and the difference was night and day.

I got bored and went through some boxes and made abit of a Frankenstein marker I thought it was ok from a pile of odd markers and happy to say it actually works lol

What do you all like to do during the week to stay up on your fitness for paintball and in general?

I finally got my cleats on and went to a park to run some drills, sprints, jogs, footwork, etc. Always harder when it's hot. Hit 15mph on my sprints, which isn't bad for a 33 year old who doesn't run. Haha!

I lift weights here and there, ride dirt bikes, and ride mountain bikes also.

Digging the results. Been brainstorming on bringing some of my commercial production workflows over to paintball coverage, and we gave it a go this weekend.

Of course it was pouring rain all day; but the results are a ton of fun.

Just like most people in the hobby, I absolutely love going through different forums, posts and videos learning about different markers both old and new. But one brand that I really don't know much about is Macdev. And yes, I am fully aware that PE is ahead of the game right now but that does not stop me from wanting to learn about other manufacturers and what they have to offer. I've been catching up on the GTX and saw that it got an updated solenoid and I was wondering how it was holding up with this update. Has it truly brought the efficiency up? And how is it doing in terms of reliability? I was able to hold one during cup and it felt super nice in hand and I might consider picking one up at some point, but I just wanna keep learning about it a bit more. Are there any quirks to look out for in terms of any of the electronic components? How are the eyes? Servicing it seems simple enough as I know that it's just a gamma, and it seems very easy to take apart, but is there anything else to be made aware of?

Im trying to get an at home air compressor so I have something to fill tanks for working on and testing guns, and just enjoy them but also if possible im looking for something to take to the field for personal use obviously. Im not really new to the enjoyment of the sport but I am new to wanting to learn about paintball markers and rebuild them. At first I told my wife about $300 or less ill have to spend but im thinking if I can spend close to said budget I can get by with something better... im running in to the issue of there being pretty much the same product different prices and im not sure what is the best option or route to take. Can I have some advise on what would be my best option, specially if anyone has personal experience on the matter of having a few currently or in the past. Looking for low maintenance and air flow cooling first but if much better and at most $400 range I'd be interested other options.
