I know it’s Oz so bad writing especially in the later seasons but damn. I actually enjoy seasons 5 and 6 as a black comedy.

Edit: come to think of it, maybe it’s because he was incarcerated the entire time and wasn’t actually able to sleep with Sandra Purpuro.

Are there any moments in the show that stick with you due to how disturbing it was?

For me, it’s when Shirley Bellinger is executed and Lopreti ties the noose around her neck. So gross how he had been having sex with a prisoner and then to gladly help end her life is just sickening.

In fact, the CO’s behavior in general is one of the most uncomfortable parts of the show. At least the prisoners are risking their lives and freedom (with solitary) when they engage in illegal activities, meanwhile the CO’s actively cover for each other even up to the warden. Claire Howell never faces any penance for her crimes either.

He would either be a prag or run the prison first day (I can't decide)

Will he survive?
