Waiting for it then, if you need help uploading code to upstream just DM me :) Also, would it be possible to upload those patches to GitHub or something? Downloading "random" files from "random" blogs is no-go for most of us, I would really like to have a look and test your solutions in field.

It is all already in the making. First patches have been reviewed. I joined the ptg with the horizon team to explain too. And working off the comments on the reviews atm :) so you can pull them already from gerrit . Its split into 13 seperate patches to make review easier and be in line with contribution rules.  https://review.opendev.org/q/project:openstack/horizon+owner:flyersa+status:open  you can ignore the dhcp ones, they are not related for performance and just a bugfix. You can also download the full patchsets here: https://github.com/flyersa/various

Super cool, thanks again for your work! What about for more recent versions, esp. 2026.1?

Why not Skyline though?

We use both. Skyline has its merits and for sure will replace horizon at some point. But there is not alot wrong usability wise with horizon, it only issue was that it was horrible slow on large environments and inefficient. Skyline ui design is kind of shit too (guess can be templated too) for my taste. Our op team prefers horizon for some reason too and they never really worked with openstack before
