I know the graphics and view distance are very low but i can still get probably get the same performance at higher settings when not recording.

this is a very simple tutorial, all you have to do is turn v-sync on or off ( doesn't really matter if you don't need above your monitor's refresh rate ) and set fps to 120+ ( ESSENTIAL ) i also recommend using performance focused mods.
