Willa "Wee-Woo" Forever.
She passed on Sunday 10/11. She was 17 1/2 years old. This pic was her in action, hippity-hopping around the snow about 2 years ago. She leaves behind me, a 38 year old, my Mom who called her "her chosen child" (real sweet, Ma, thanks), and 2 cats who keep yowling and looking for her. She lived a good, long life.
I called the crematorium to place an order for her urn and I said, "hey I want the most obnoxiously loud urn you have for her size" and the woman on the other side said, "oh we're going fully Dolly Parton. Okay" and that made my freaking day.... Willa's getting a rainbow urn with rhinestones, an engraving, and if I'm lucky there will be some glitter involved.
Hug your pets tonight.

Iβm so sorry for your loss.
She was beautiful, and you can feel the love in this write up. Sending you my condolences, dear stranger.

RIP Willa and lots of ((hugs)) for you. I'm sure my departed dogs and kitties will show her around on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

She was born in May of 2009, and was a spitfire right off the bat. I bought her from a puppy store (Yes, I know I screwed up and I'll never do it again-- but I got really lucky with her). She was maybe 7-8 weeks old when I got her. I looked at my brother and was like, "what do you mean she doesn't poop in a box?" I grew up with cats. With that being said, Willa also grew up with cats. I lovingly called her my "puppy-cat" because she'd curl up next to my cat, on the back of the couch, etc. She probably thought she was a cat.... until stranger showed up. She was very vocal about them. Willa loved the most garbage of all garbage dog foods. Prescription food changes would cause her to go on strike. She only ate ground up Pedigree canned food and LOVED it for years. If a stranger tried to give her a dog treat/cookie, she'd take it, very politely, spit it out, and then STARE AT ME like I was the problem. I've apologized for her more times than you can imagine (to strangers. it's always been awkward).
Diva dog forever. <3
