We are visiting my wife’s family this week, and was wondering where would be the best place to watch the UGA/Auburn game? I know that there is an alumni chapter in SLC, but I’d rather stay local.

I’m (41) a SAHM and starting to get a little lonely. We recently moved to the area and my toddlers and I could use some friendship and socializing. We’re usually outdoors at parks/hiking/exploring. We are not an LDS family. DM please if you think you’d be up for a play date at a park sometime!

Recently, my gf started working there as a barista/bartender (mocktails) and it’s an interesting combination to have under one establishment. It’s also great for students studying and open pretty late for a cafe. What I do notice is a lack of business during the week.
Out of curiosity, I was wondering what people think of it from those who frequent or went once? Again, It’s a weird combination of drinks and wanted so insight into people who enjoy it, it’s also fun to see opinions on new businesses in Ogden.
Also curious about other cafes that serve tasty coffees if anybody has suggestions ;) I mainly go to Grounds on 25th (shoutout Hal).

I have a bunch of free political/election stickers I’d love to share with anyone interested in the Ogden area! Some more local topics include data centers, abolishing ice, not supporting pedos, etc. 😊

I'm making this post for my friend who doesn't have a Reddit account but they asked me to say something in this subReddit, I will be referring to haunted hollow specifically though because that is what they asked me to post about.
When going through the Hollow please DO NOT touch or grab at the cast. It's incredibly against the rules and can traumatize some of them. Do not flirt with them in a creepy or weird manner. They are doing their job, no matter how pretty or handsome they look in costumes don't make any sort of lewd comments or ask for numbers or snapchats. A lot of the cast there are actually minors so take that as you will! If their costume is revealing, it is part of the costume and not there for you to comment on. If you pay for a haunted house to just sexually harrass the actors, you are not cool, you are not funny, and nobody likes you.
I was told that they had actors being grabbed and made comments about their bodies. Thats disgusting.
If you were one of these people, get some help.
Now that said, it is mainly teenage boys and younger boys doing this shit. Parents, if your younger (10-15 year old) boys want to go to haunted hollow, accompany them if you think they might have this behavior. It might be extra expensive for you guys to get tickets too and I'm not saying all boys are bad but a vast majority of them take it too far with comments and flirting and that is absolutely disgusting.
Also, scaring the actors isn't always as fun as it seems. They never know if someone is lunging at them to hit them or to scare them or some other thing.
As I said this is goes for all haunted houses, not just haunted hollow. Respect your scare actors. You pay to go there, but you do not make your own rules just because you pay. Haunt actors are humans too. Learn that. Respect that.

I'm trying to find the best place in town to spend halloween. I'm 23, queer, and I love this holiday but I'm not sure the best spot to spend it. Is the KoKoMo bar crawl any good? Is there anything else?
Thanks!

What's the weather been like today for you? Heard there are storms moving in for us but I haven't seen even a drop all day but others in the same area have been saying light rain off and on. What's it been like in your neck of the woods today?

does anybody have recs for where i can go get a reasonably priced haircut in ogden as a man with very long hair? a lot of salons i've found seem very expensive with services beyond what i need and the thought of a barbershop seems weird because i don't want a super short cut. looking to cut my very long hair down to shoulder length.

I'm trying to find where photo booths were located prior to the 2000s! If you remember taking any and where you took them, I'd love to hear about them.
