Living in Texas, the whole thing is definitely about the workers having briefly been able to get protections for working in exceptional heat and dangerous conditions and occasionally having been able to sue their employer (sometimes by proxy).

So the slaves had a minor revolt and now we're calling ICE every chance we get. Not on hardened criminals, just people who want to live quietly and work for a living.

No sh**. I worked for a guy who ran a landscaping company who surprisingly wasn’t MAGA. He made sure his guys had updated work visas and even paid for a few to keep them around. He knew other guys who ran construction and lawn business too that were voting for Trump. He eventually picked up more yards because other lawn crews lost workers and had to cut down their workload.

I don't trust anyone with "We the People," "1776," "9-Line" etc. stickers or apparel; even down to Under Armour American flag clothes. They're cos-playing true U.S. citizens to the point of cultural appropriation.

Nothing about the post is homophonic to me, which part are you talking about specifically? Sure the language could have been more neutral and inconclusive but jumping straight to homophobia just dilutes the word when it legitimately happens. Maybe get a potted plant for your truck so can you touch some grass here and there

Conservative Friends and family have learned not to bring up certain subjects around me because I am VERY quick to bring it out and correct them. 😂
