As a chronic bed unmaker, who cares? I'll clean and fold my clothes, I'll wipe down counters after everything. But the bed? Nah. It'll get tossed all around the second I get in, and making it doesn't make it anymore comfortable. Also, who's gonna judge me for it? Certainly not I, and if anyone but my wife and I makes into our bedroom, I don't think that a slightly messy bed is gonna make them think any worse of me or her

For the same reason that these guys are getting paid to make sure all of these chairs are aligned; some people care about things looking or being right, even if no one else is going to see it.

And I am going to walk into my bedroom at night and see a made bed? Like above, some people care about things looking or being right, even if no one else is going to see it.
