Looking for a multi-part horror story featuring a friendly dog-like creature (possibly a Labrador or Golden Retriever)

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to find a horror story I listened to on YouTube some time ago. I believe it was narrated by either The Dark Somnium or Let's Read, but I'm not completely sure.

Here's what I remember:

It was a fairly long story, possibly divided into multiple parts.

One of the main characters was a friendly, dog-like creature. I remember imagining him as a Labrador or Golden Retriever.

The creature could speak and had a goofy personality. In the narration, he had a rather deep, silly-sounding voice.

He was one of the good guys and became friends with the main character, who I believe was human.

The main character met this dog-like creature during the story, so they didn't know each other from the beginning.

The dog-like character frequently wagged his tail when he was happy. I distinctly remember this being mentioned several times.

Despite his friendly and somewhat goofy personality, he was incredibly dangerous when necessary.

I remember a particular scene where the dog-like creature brutally crushed or killed someone or something. The main character was shocked because he hadn't realized his friendly companion was capable of such violence.

The creature had a name, but unfortunately I can't remember it.

I vaguely remember the dog-like character getting seriously injured, or possibly even dying, at some point in the story.

The dog character wasn't evil. He was genuinely friendly and lovable, which made the contrast between his personality and his terrifying strength particularly memorable.

I believe the story involved supernatural creatures or entities, but I can't remember the overall plot.

I've searched through my YouTube history without any luck.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'd really love to find this story again!

Thanks in advance!

FOUND Nosleep story with a detective/cop narrator that turns out to be the killer at the end.

I can't find this nosleep story I remember reading a few years ago. I believe it was from the perspective of a cop investigating a series of murders where the bodies were torn apart and hung up in trees. By the end, it turns out that the narrator was the killer and he was doing it as revenge for the racist things that happened to his family in the past.

If anyone knows which one I'm talking about, please let me know.

My friend is trying to remember a story that was on the NoSleep podcast. She said it was about a woman who goes crazy because she thinks her kids are disappearing but it turns out to be her husband who killed them and buried them in the backyard under some flowers.

FOUND r/nosleep story about a college student who gains god-like intelligence after taking some pills.

Looking for a horror story I read around 2015–2021, possibly on r/nosleep. It followed a male college student who went to college to escape his small hometown and didn't want to return. He was behind on his assignments/ didn't study for a test or something, and if he failed he'd have to return home. He received some mysterious pills from his roommate, and after taking them, his intelligence increased dramatically, almost like "gears clicking into place". He was able to finish all his work because it suddenly made sense to him in a way it hadn't before, almost like child's play. His expanded intelligence also allowed him to see into other planes of existence and perceive enormous, godlike beings that he shouldn't have been seeing. He also encountered or communicated with his deceased father in one of these planes, who may have been abusive. I believe the entire experience happened over a single night in his dorm room. It was a somewhat longer story.

A Guy looking for his missing girlfriend finds a doppelganger.

I read this story a long time ago. I don't remember the the story very well but I think it was something like this.

A guy's girlfriends goes hiking or camping in a forest (Alone I think) and doesn't return so after a few day's or weeks he goes to look for her himself, possibly after the official search is called off.

He arrives in a town right next to the forest and is warned by the local cops to give up the search and to not go into the forest where she vanished but he doesn't listen. I'm not sure if he actually went into the forest to look for her or not. I think at some point a local cop warns him that "something" might try to visit him in the night and tells him not to let anyone in.

One scene I remeber the most is the guy in his motel room at night when his girlfriend returns trying to get in though its obvious something is extremely wrong with her. I think she couldn't get in because one of the cops blocked the door with salt or something. The doppelganger dies when the sun rise's and I think it remains were non-human, maybe plant or fungal like.

After that a cop explains to him that sometimes when people go missing in the forest these doppelgangers return and try to trick the missing persons family and friends. The guy then leaves town.

Suggestion Request Liminal eternal suburb stories

I'd like more stories about unnatural creepy liminal endless suburbs. So far, I've come across a BlairDaniels story with that theme and am looking for more. Anything that would likely have people commenting "This is like that movie Vivarium" or, like I see under Dreamcore/liminal spaces/backrooms-related social media posts... there may likely be a bunch of comments that just say "Vivarium" lol. In other words, I'm craving another story similar to that movie. Nothing is coming up for me when searching "endless suburb" or any variant of that.

Also, I prefer stories with detailed descriptions.

[WTF] Possibly Deleted? "Midnight Market" or something similar?

Hello, I heard this story narrated in a youtube video reading a few months ago at work and it really stuck with me. The gist was it started as a kind of standard story about finding a job overnight at a grocery store, but the worldbuilding was very good about the town that wasn't on any map and kind of almost collected lost people. Anyway, the narrator had a female boss who was kind of a badass, and she took no nonsense from the entities. Mostly normal people during the day with some exceptions and a kind of rare 'Night Market' thing where all hell broke loose.

-I remember the town was described as very wet, maybe a waterfront?

-There was an arc with a big storm and a customer who came and went without the door opening.

-Arc about a missing girl who was eventually found in the custody of these entities and the narrator bargains to get her back

I can't find this story anywhere, I am starting to suspect it was scrubbed for a movie deal or book or something. I know it isn't Tales from the Gas Station (big fan of that story too!) so any help is appreciated.

FOUND [WTF] Standalone story about a man framed for murder by an all-girl band singer

I'm looking for an older standalone r/nosleep story. It starts with a man in prison telling his story of how he got there. He claims he was falsely accused by his favorite band, which was an all-girl band.

He initially discovered a pattern of murders matching their tour dates on an online forum. He started following them from city to city. At first, he just watched the lead singer from afar and noticed that she would leave with random men after her concerts. The lead singer is described as having an angelic voice. Later in the story, he interacts with her, but she ends up framing him for the murders using her colorful hair ties.

woman finds a journal in a bath house?

it takes place in japan and a woman finds a journal hidden in a bathhouse that dates back some odd years ago. it belongs to a school girl who originally came to visit the actual bath house but some how no-clipped into an alternate reality, the same bath house but different and scary. she records her day to day in the journal that somehow made it back to the real world. it gives major back rooms vibes and i cant seem to find it but it really creeped me out.

[lost story] vampiric desert

Many years ago, probably 2010-2015, I read a creepy past or no sleep story about a man in search of a desert. He was warned by an old man not to go looking for it. After finding it he discovered it was vampiric and it absorbed his soul.

FOUND Bobblehead voodoo for leasing weight creepypasta

I remembered about this story but I can’t find it, chatgpt and Gemini couldn’t help me either. It’s about a woman that realizes that her fat coworker is losing weight in a fast pace even though she keeps eating a lot, and I remember it has to do with a bobblehead toy or something similar that works like a voodoo, whenever the toy is moving it’s just like she’s exercising too. I don’t know if it’s actually in nosleep but probably is, did someone ever read something like that?

Flooded maintenance tunnel and music?

Looking for a story where a maintenance worker explores an underground system, some of which is flooded. It may have been a pump station. He may mention Maine or Vermont. If I remember correctly he finds a drowned co-worker or their flashlight. Eventually he finds a room with a chair where there is music playing. This was accompanied by real video of him walking around this structure. Thanks for your time!

Nosleep stories about contagious rituals to save the world& a bridge that makes ppl commit?

Hey I read these stories SO long ago and I would love to reread. The 1st one a guy goes to see a psych and while he's in the office every few minutes he has to do a ritual or move things around bc if he doesn't, a disaster happens. Of course the psych doesn't believe him, so he asks him to skip the next ritual and a plane crashes? Then the psych sees something in the corner of his eye and he somehow starts to believe in the rituals. At the end, he becomes the person carrying out the rituals.

Another story was sent thru an email warning ppl about some Bridge? But each person that's warned about it ends up going to the bridge & committing suicide. That's all I can remember. Please help!

Horror story about a fire watch worker struck by lightning with a mirror-image doppelgänger.

Not just a doppelganger story but an Appalachian Rules story the way I heard it as he comes home twice and is subject to the family's rules for the situation. His doppelganger carries his death for him "so he won't have to" and "he was not supposed to leave the mountain". The doppelganger has his hair parted on the wrong side and writes backwards.

Looking for a creepypasta/ nosleep story about nazi human experiment

There are 2 different stories

  1. I could have sworn it was called der Kindergarten and was about a sadistic human experiment with children released into like a death trap amusement park. one of the horrors was a girl eating a caramel apple/ lollipop laced with acid and didnt stop until her jaw was partially melted off.
  2. Some prisoners of war were subjected to different kinds of torture to find out the extent of human greed to motivate them to do increasingly morbid and atrocious things. there was something about beating a mother to death with her frozen baby.

FOUND Looking for these nosleep podcast stories

Hi! I am looking for two nosleep podcast stories, one may have also been posted on Nosleep itself as it was from one of the earlier seasons.

  1. I listened to this one probably 9ish years ago so it has to be one of the earlier seasons. I think it was voiced by Peter Lewis. A young man’s father brings his diseased limb back home in a jar. I think it was a leg. I remember there being a jungle setting somewhere in the story, whether the father had lost his limb there or they currently lived in the jungle I cannot remember. The dad and the son had a poor relationship and the son was wary of his limb. That’s all I remember sorry! It was not a season pass story.

  2. This one was probably newer and may have been a season pass story. A grown up son inspects the house his parents died in (and he grew up in), it’s notable that his mother died from cancer and his dad died shortly after. He discovers a huge part of the house he never knew of before, it’s just vast, empty, and very very cold. He discovers his father’s body down there (and it’s noted that the knit gloves down there are his fathers that went missing if I am remembering correctly?) and realizes whatever came out from the door before as a child wasn’t his dad as his real dad died of exposure. It’s revealed the space has a nuclear quality to it, and he starts getting radiation poisoning the father he goes in, it’s assumed his dad died of that and whatever came out looking like his dad gave his mother cancer through the nuclear energy it emits? It sounds kinda silly but I remember the story being engaging and I’d like to find it again!
    Thanks for any help!

guy and his wife move into his dead father's trailer in the woods, mimic monster and family curse

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a specific story (possibly a multi-part series that was on r/nosleep) that I read a while ago

here are the specific plot details I remember:

  • the male narrator's father dies (there is a line about the narrator remembering throwing the first handful of dirt on his grave when the monster tries to imitate him). The narrator and his wife lost their jobs and move into his father's old trailer in the woods.
  • the wife is a nursing student (I think her name is Sarah or Sara). When they move in she brings her coffee machine and some other stuff in her car and they have dinner on the porch
  • the father had left warnings about a supernatural entity connected to their family. He warned never to go into the woods at night and never to answer the door if something knocks exactly three times. the curse was tied to the dad but when he dies it latches onto the narrator
  • the narrator finds his grandmother's old journal in the floorboards or somewhere hidden and has details about how she summoned the monster, with sigils and such inside
  • on the first night, the monster shows up outside the trailer and knocks three times on the door and mimics the dead father's voice. It tries to get the narrator to open the door by shouting things like, "I have something important to tell you about grandma's journal" and "you're in danger." The monster can mimic multiple people.
  • the wife peels back the wallpaper in the trailer kitchen and finds sigils scratched into the walls underneath
  • the wife doesn't believe him, the monster manipulates her into thinking he is having a mental breakdown. they have a physical confrontation where he panics and breaks her phone when she tries to call for help and she wants to leave the next day
  • the narrator tries to take his wife to the local police/sheriff the next morning to prove he isn't crazy because apparently he knows about it or something. When they drive there the monster follows their car and is able to keep pace but they never get a full view of it

Does anyone know the exact title or author of this series? Thank you so much for the help!
