Located about 30 minutes north of the Bay. We don't have a vehicle capable of towing the pontoon boat. The person that usually helps us each year passed away.
Anyone know of a service, or interested in making a few bucks themselves?

Alright, I've really been trying my best not to engage in the politics unfolding over the mayors seat. It's too upsetting, and I refuse to be a part of a Chirico redux.
But, I've been reading the letters to the editor, and doing my best to resist the comment sections (it's just their most rapid campaign volunteers bickering, near as I can tell)
But, the former CAOs letter to the editor really got to me.
It's full of drama, could be better written, and defends a status quo that clearly is not popular at the moment.
But more than anything, to me, it shows that Lowry has lost the plot.
In what fucking world is it reasonable for a mayoral candidate to call up anyone and demand they stay quiet.
For god's sake man, go meet with some voters, try winning them over, and just go win the fucking thing. Thinking your campaign is helped by chasing elite endorsements and trying to silence your critics?
Just go silence your critics by beating them, by winning. Be a winner, don't be some loser who gets in the mud with these has-beens writing letters. Giving them permission to air your dirty laundry.
I wish him luck, and hope he sees Jesus, truly. He's convinced me to vote for Maggie and to do my best to get my family and friends to vote (that's the real battle, not the "who for?"), simply because he's not the outsider or fresh approach he claims to be. He's chaotic, just like our current mayor. He's too happy to engage in the petty shit when a serious candidate would simply run their race and win it, especially on the heels of Chirico.

Hey,
Last week I sent an email to all 5 candidates for mayor with 6 questions that seemed important to me. I let them know I'd be posting them verbatim before the election. I wanted to have them up before advance voting starts.
I got answers from Maggie Horsfield and Jamie Lowery. I've sent one more email to the remaining 3, and I'll add any late answers with a note giving the date they came in.
Here are the answers as I got them. Feel free to share on other socials if you found them useful.

Looking to connect with a local film student, recent graduate, or aspiring filmmaker interested in getting involved with a potential TV or documentary project.
Ideally, someone curious, reliable, and eager to learn, with a particular interest in camera work and production, but also editing. Experience is a bonus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved are just as important.
If this sounds like you, or you know someone who might be interested, send me a DM with a little about yourself and any relevant experience or work samples.
Thanks!

Is there any kind of lovers lane type deals in north bay or more quiet spots to park a car and make out? Tried a few places but were busy and I don’t want to disturb anyone nearby

My partner got relocated to North Bay this year and I’m trying to find a job so I can follow him.
I have a background in project management, supply chain and logistics.
How hard would be to find a job?

Say what you want about Al, he won three elections. I happen to agree with his points in this article about the two mayoral candidates.

Hey everyone!
I moved to North Bay this past January, so this is my first fall here. I live near the Airport Lookout/Ski Hill area, and I'm looking for the best spots to enjoy the beautiful fall colours.
I'm especially interested in breathtaking viewpoints overlooking hills, forests, and valleys, preferably somewhere with panoramic views of the colourful landscape.
Are there any hidden gems, scenic lookouts, hiking trails, or must-visit spots around North Bay that you'd recommend?
I'm also willing to drive a little outside the city if the views are worth it!
Would love to hear your recommendations. Thanks in advance! 🍁

I am considering refreshing my doula certifications and wondering if people are looking for a Celtic birth doula: I am in a deep learning around weaving the new and the old ways.
Doulas are a great way to add to your support team with unbiased sisterhood support throughout the entire process, from pregnancy and through the fourth trimester. I have tended a few women in pregnancy with great feedback in helping to manage fears and anxieties while cultivating a loving & spiritual space to explore birth and postpartum “plans”, but have yet to attend a birth due to quick labours. I took a break to reflect but am wondering about getting back into the work.
I would love to support you with a soft hum, a drum if it feels right, and assistance in finding new positions for the enduring process of giving birth.
I will not be replacing your partner, but aim to help them remain as present as possible with whatever level of space seems appropriate. I am also sensitive to the subtle layers and can tend to light energy work and mediation in the ancestral fields. This is not a replacement for a doctor or midwife but additional support that can help you navigate boundaries for the optimal outcome while supporting you emotionally between other appointments.
If interested DM or email [gaiaeagnea@gmail.com](mailto:gaiaeagnea@gmail.com) I’ll send you my phone number to meet and see how we align as your shield to the birth space. Absolutely no charge for the interview and final payment is whatever you feel comfortable with after your birth. I also do 1-2 check-ins postpartum. This can be via text, phone, or in person.
