Please guide regarding weather appropriate dressing

Hello guys! I'm planning a trip to Nice from next Wednesday for 6 days and will be doing day trips to the nearby cities as well. Can you please guide me what would be appropriate to wear for the weather for a woman? The weather projections for next week seems to be 19 to 21°C. Thank you very much!

Two Hotel Rooms

Hello! We are in the very early stages of planning our trip and are considering multiple accommodation styles. I am wondering if adjoining/next door hotel rooms are a thing in Nice. We will be traveling with our 2 young adult children.

We typically use AirBnB/VRBO but are hoping to stay near Nice city center and have access to a pool. There seems to be no such option of 2+ bedrooms and pool access in that area using rental homes. Perhaps two hotel rooms would help us meet that criteria.

Nice (Monaco/Cannes) safety situation

Hello folks,

Planninf to finally visit beauriful cote dazur in the fist week of November. I know the current situation in the country is a bit unpredictable but i would like to know how it has impacted Nice and the surrounding cities, would you feel like it is still worth visiting at this time?

Also, I am planning to go back home on November 5, but there sre possibly some nation wide strikes on that day, would sou think it would have an impact on the transport to the airport, or maybe even airport itself. Sorry if I am souneikt a bit paranoid, but this has been a dream on my bucketlist for some time so I want it to be perfect lol.

Thanks in advance!

Anyone up for occasional road trips around Nice?

Hey everyone!
I was wondering if there are people here who enjoy going for drives every now and then, especially around the mountains near Nice (the Mercantour ?), or just exploring scenic roads in the area.
The idea would be to go for a few hours or a day on weekends, enjoy the views, discover new spots, stop for a coffee, and maybe meet some new people along the way.
If anyone’s interested, let me know!

instagram accounts for daily events & happenings

Are there any instagram accounts posting weekend events, food pop ups, dj sets, nightlife, etc. here for the city? I always find things directly through my favorite spots, but would be nice to branch out and find fun pop up events throughout town once in a while. Thanks!

Best underrated towns outside of Nice and Cassis France for a family of foodies who want to also want to swim etc.

Hi there! We’re planning a trip between Cassis and Nice with two couples, one of whom is a renowned chef and the other of whom I consider myself a rookie chef with a passion for fresh markets. We also have three boys under the age of seven, and we’re looking for a town that’s close enough to great swimming spots, markets, and possibly some museums. However, we’d prefer a town that’s about 45 minutes from interesting museums or charming towns, with a decent budget.

We’re looking for some nice restaurants and cute towns to explore, but we’re not interested in trendy, overly touristy places. We’ll be driving, so we’ll need to consider the accessibility of the towns. We plan to fly out of Nice, so we’ll need to find a town that’s within a reasonable distance.

We’ve already missed out on our dream spot in Cagnes-sur-Mer, so we’re excited to hear any suggestions you may have. We love art, cooking, old villages, and being close to the coast so we can swim and maybe take a nice boat trip on the Mediterranean.

We’re thrilled to get your suggestions and realistic advice.

Matisse Museum alternatives?

Hello! I’ll be visiting Nice next weekend and I’m very sad to find out that the Matisse Museum will be closed whilst I’m visiting. I’m wondering if there are recommendations for other art museums in Nice to see? I have the Chagall museum on my list.

Alternatively, any day trips to nearby towns that would be worth doing on the Saturday 17th October 🚋

Thank you in advance!!

Cheapest way to get from the airport to City Centre?

Seems to be a known trick by getting off at Grand Arenas and buying the ticket there to not get ripped off by the machines at the airport, however have read online this is no longer the case. Wondering if that is the case and whether there is there an alternative?

Restaurant pour mon anniversaire

Bonjour,

Merci d’avance 🙏
