News A State Rep Running For Reelection is Being Investigated by State Police and is Also The Mayor of Claremont

Per Greg Johnson on Facebook this is what is being investigated by state police.

"Driving drunk from Claremont Country Club, then getting into it with an adolescent on Bible Hill and slapping him — all while being recorded. And let's not forget, there were multiple witnesses at both locations.
So, any guesses on how this is going to play out for the First Lady of Claremont? Seems like this is going to be a little harder to explain away when there are recordings and multiple witnesses to back up what happened."

No idea if true or not but they are clearly being investigated by state police right before the big voting day.

Ask NH Does anyone need any help?

Hey everyone! I know this time of year can be hellish especially with how this economy is, so i thought why not offer to help? Do you have yardwork you have been putting off because you are a single person? Are you struggling to fix something because it’s too expensive and it’s a two person job? Did you move away and you have elderly parents you want checked on? Well good news I’m your guy! I am free most weekends to give a hand especially with those who are in need, i do not want any money or any thanks just merely to help out those who need it. If you have any questions or any concerns please DM me privately and i will do my best to answer them.

Politics Stop getting political poll research calls

I took one research poll call & now everyday I get calls from them 3x a day. I have told them to stop calling me and they still persist. Yesterday I began blocking those numbers!

DO NOT TAKE ANY POLL RESEARCH CALLS; THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE!!!!

And I have no clue how to stop them from harassing me.

“Chris Pappas's unwavering dedication to our veterans and his efforts to foster bipartisan cooperation set him apart as a leader who will prioritize the needs of all constituents,” Bolduc said in a statement first released to the Union Leader.

“His ability to navigate the complex landscape of our economy, tackle the national debt with a steady hand, and work towards solutions that bridge divides is especially critical in today’s challenging political climate.”

Discussion Truck spray in bedliners

Does anyone have any recommendations on places that do spray in liners in southern NH?

Ideally, I'd like to get an undercoat sprayed on as well, but I know not all shops do that, so if anyone has any suggestions for that as well, that'd be great!

Thanks!

Moose mountain closed?

I was looking at places to go sledding and came across moose mountain. Their website is gone, and it looks like they haven't posted on FB in a while. Are they closed? Does anyone know about sledding there?

New England College Covered Bridge Fall Foliage Henniker, NH 10-14-2026

I think I captured my most favorite fall foliage photo of this 2026 season right in our backyard. We're new to New Hampshire and are not terribly familiar with the area where we live yet but I discovered this covered bridge this morning and the foliage was PEAK! I shot this with my Sony A7RIV and my 24-70mm G-master lens. This is a two photo panorama that I merged together in Lightroom.

Why doesn’t anywhere in the western part of the state have an aldis besides Keene?

Lebanon, Littleton, and Claremont don’t have an Aldis. Wouldn’t those 3 locations be a great location for one? Lebanon having DHMC means people driving up there for something may stop and shop, Littleton being in the white mountains just get the tourists and people from everywhere. Claremont has much lower income compared to a lot of places in the state and since Aldis has cheap prices it seems like it would be a match made in heaven.

I’ve noticed Hannafords prices are through the roof and I guess they got hacked this week so some shopping features are down. Market basket got rid of the one and only Artie T which just kinda left a sour taste in my mouth. Also when they run sales on products when the item leaves the sale they make the non sale price a little higher then what it was before the sale to hide that they are raising prices. Walmart is meh unless you have a super center. Shaws and price chopper are way too expensive for what they offer.

Fall foliage Oct 17th weekend

Hi All, I will be around Boston on Oct 17th weekend for 3 days and wanted to check which is the best areas around Maine / NH / Vermont for fall foliage around that time ?

I am currently confused between Woodstock - Southern Vermont vs Coastal Maine / Acadia NP (is it too less a time for Acadia ?) I know that most mountain regions are probably past peak already but not sure about Brattleborough. I know there’s been plenty of rough weather lately around that area so looking for best places or alternatives.
