(fNIRS) Undergrad looking to convert data into SNIRF files
Hi all,
I am looking for some advice on writing snirf files in Python for my fNIRS data. I currently have fNIRS data stored in excel workbooks... For my research I used BIOPACs fnirs2000 device - 18 optodes (2 short), 16 optodes arranged 8x2, 10 detectors, 4 sources - and found that BIOPACs software fNIRSoft does not come equipped with up-to-date tools for fNIRS signal processing and data analysis. Thus, I am looking to use Python tools (Cedalion or MNE-NIRS) for this processing, but BIOPACs software exports data in excel workbooks...requiring me to solve what feels like the impossible - converting 18 workbooks for 18 participants into 18 snirf files so that I can use these Python tools. Any advice for this task would be greatly appreciated. I can certainly provide further details, just looking for people with experience in writing snirf files to start. Thanks!!!
