I couldn’t find a dedicated sub for these awesome little guys so I thought this place was my best bet.
I’ve been keeping Emerald Dwarf Rasbora (Danio erythromicron) for a while now and thought they deserved an illustration of their own!

Hey beloved Aquascape-Community,
I'm brand new to the thing and am looking for some advice designing my Tank.
I already have an Idea and some materials, but since i dont want to change the design immidiatly i thought i get my self some advice from you guys!
My Tank ist 28x37x32 cm (HxLxW), ca. 33 L.
Planned Inhabitans are Blue Dream Shrimps and Snails.
Plantwise I figured to start easy (Java Moss etc.) and also look whats available around me through other aquarists.
So what i got for myself yet is:
- a small filter for the corner (wich i have no idea how to hide it yet)
- 5 kg of black gravel soil
- some tools
- rather small pieces pf dragonstone and wood (pictures).
For arranging it i already got some advice:
- the gravel should get higher in the back to create more depth (but is it already enogh or should i get more gravel?)
-put the bigger hardscape in the front to create depth
- and then there is the rule of 3 or the golden ratio wich i also understand but find it hard to implement with like very limited hardscape.
So i just arranged it a bit (photo) what do you think?
-should i add a fith piece of wood? (to get an odd number)
- what should i do with the rocks there are still some left. (you see the total amount ind the picture with the scale (cm) also the big wood piece is still leftover
- how should i hide the filter
this are my obviouse concerns, but I'm happy about any big or litte advice leading to more knowlege and more fun aquascaping!
Also things i didnt mention haha :)
Thank you all in advance already!

Hey nano tank friends - whatcha think of my nano table?

I set it up around 3 days ago and everything you see here is from another mature tank, just rearranged. I was gonna ask for some suggestions for the bare spot on the back right corner. I'm also pretty happy about the 2.5 foot val I grew. Im open to critiques and suggestions!

And some group of fishes.

It’s been over 7.5 months with my tank.
Currently I have 1 betta fish, 1 nederite snail and 2 African dwarf frogs.
So many changes over the time but still managed to keep it up going.
When does an aquarium can consider mature?

It’s about a gallon. I do not know why I’ve kept it for so long, but here we are. If I wanted to add life to it other than algae and duckweed and microbes unknown to science do I need an air stone?
Yes I realize the correct answer is to dump it and stop being weird.

Hi all, I'm going to be upgrading my Marimo moss balls into a 6l aquarium, I have fluval stratum for base and a sand to cap it off. I have 6 moss balls and was hoping to add some critters to keep the cycle going and prevent much intervention. I am not planning a filter for the tank. I was considering tubifex and daphnia. Is there anything else I could add or should consider. I am located in the UK

I raised two bettas in a bowl during my childhood; I realise now that was harsh, though I lacked awareness then. Today I have completed my first five-gallon planted tank and acquired my betta. He is a calm yet anxious fish who has not flared—except when I placed a mirror before him one day to test his response, and he did. He greets me whenever I approach, and I hope he enjoys the setup.
I plan to add more plants. I am considering reducing the beach on the left by adding some Aquasoil towards the back, leaving the beach only in the front left area.
Also, I would like some name suggestions if y'all have some interesting ones for my betta.

A week old now, love how it’s turned out 😍

I started this tank about 5-6 weeks ago and absolutely love it. This is my first aquarium. I have chili rasboras and Bloody Mary shrimp in now and everyone seems happy so far.
My favorite part is sitting in front of it in the evening just watching all the life. It’s so relaxing.
How much tank time do you all spend ?

I’ve been running it for a week starting to cycle it and I’m not convinced about the filter. I’m using Flora First soil balls and so there’s some residual on the surface. However, the filter doesn’t really affect any surface agitation (which is mentioned by MD Fish Tanks in his YouTube review but not flagged as an issue).
I’ve just done a 10% water change and now bubbles are sittinf on the surface undisturbed. Is this normal?
