Help naming a kitten!
Hi everyone! My husband was stopping at a small grocery store and found this super skrunkly underweight kitten there in the parking lot on Saturday morning This kitten walked right up to him meowing and started to climb up him lol so he brought him home. This little guy is the sweetest cat I've ever met, always wants to be snuggling someone, will gladly just sit on your shoulder purring away. He's also very talkative and constantly doing little mews. Very curious and silly so far.
We're seriously stuck on names so I'd appreciate any suggestions! We love fish/ocean themed names, or more silly names. We were playing around with Gumbo, Boba, Buckle, or Shrimp but nothing sticking yet.
(And don't worry, were calling the vet first thing Monday left a voice mail Saturday but we live in the middle of nowhere so they're closed on weekends unfortunately. Little guy is doing much better than the first day already though and we'll get him care as soon as possible come morning, and don't mind the mats we have been carefully cutting them off whenever he's napping and holding still, anything too close to the skin we'll have the vet handle so we don't accidentally hurt him)

Lucky Rocky, 'cuz he's lucky you found him, and for his coloring, and the rocky road he may have experienced before meeting you. Thank you for adopting the little guy

Barnibus, as he really reminds me of my little guy who crossed the rainbow bridge last year. He was also a handsome medium haired tuxedo, that loved to cuddle.

Mallo as in Mallo Cups or Mallomar Cookies.
Ringo — because of Ring Dings popping into my head, not necessarily Ringo Starr.

What’s the name of the grocery store?

We thought about that but don't think it quite fits him, it's a small local store so I don't want to share the name on here unfortunately.

I love his kind yet intuitive face.
My first thought was Rusty.

He's got such an interesting expression most the time, I dig rusty thank you for suggesting it! Especially cause when the light glints on his fur it does kind of look like a very dark rust color.

Bless you both. He's very fortunate to have you. If he sleeps a lot, maybe he's Ichabod (Crane).

Thank you, I'm just glady spouse saw him there! He's been such a sweet addition to our household over the last couple days. I love Ichabod that one would be so rad, its going in our top contenders!
