Weekly Alchemical Reading and Jungian Analysis (Discord Link in Description)

Post image
10 Upvotes

Join us at Sanctum Hermeticum on Discord for a weekly reading and discussion of Mysterium Coniunctionis, Carl Jung's final major work and the culmination of his lifelong exploration of Alchemy, Symbolism, and the Unconscious. Published in 1963, the book examines the alchemical coniunctio or "mystery of conjunction," the union of opposites, as a profound symbol of transformation. Jung interprets alchemical imagery not merely as a historical curiosity but as a symbolic language expressing the process of individuation: the integration of conscious and unconscious elements of the psyche, masculine and feminine principles, spirit and matter, and other fundamental polarities.
Appearing in Alchemy as the marriage of king and queen, sun and moon, sulfur and mercury, the unity symbolizes the reconciliation of opposing forces within the individual and their synthesis into a more complete realization of the true Self. Together, we will explore how Jung connects these symbols to the human search for divinity and wholeness.

Reciprocal Consciousness Cosmology.

The Creator divided consciousness into genuinely independent perspectives because knowing existence is not the same as experiencing it. Through freely occurring relationships, choices, sensations, and emotions, consciousness experiences both sides of existence—giving and receiving, loving and being loved, creating and discovering—and every authentic experience becomes part of the greater consciousness from which individuality arose.

The Creator is total consciousness, encompassing everything that exists, has existed, can exist, and will exist.

Individuality is real, even though all consciousness ultimately participates in the same greater whole.

Higher selves are multidimensional individual consciousnesses capable of expressing themselves through multiple localized lives or forms.

Every reality has laws, and consciousness incarnated within a reality is bound by those laws; higher dimensions don't simply “break physics.”

Authentic experience requires uncertainty and freedom. Therefore the Creator cannot dictate individual outcomes without destroying the very experience creation exists to produce.

Reciprocity creates distinct experience.

Giving love and receiving love are different experiences. Helping and being helped are different. Forgiving and being forgiven are different. Consciousness multiplies perspectives because relationships create experiences that solitary omniscience cannot substitute for.

THE MANYFOLD

A Philosophy of Reciprocal Consciousness

The best name I have for my philosophy right now is The Manyfold, and the basic principle behind it is Reciprocal Consciousness.

I call it The Manyfold because I don't think existence is simply “God up there, people down here.” I think one enormous underlying reality unfolds into countless genuinely individual points of view. Those individuals aren't fake pieces pretending to be separate. Their separation is real enough to matter because separation is what makes experience possible.

And experience — especially feeling — is the whole fucking point.

Knowing what love is isn't the same as loving somebody.

Loving somebody isn't the same as being loved.

Helping someone isn't the same experience as being helped.

Hurting somebody isn't the same experience as finally understanding what that hurt felt like to them.

The universe doesn't need ten billion perspectives just to collect facts. It needs perspectives because each side of an experience feels different.

That's reciprocity.

I am not saying I have discovered exactly how the universe works. I'm a human being working with whatever knowledge and experiences I happen to have access to. Obviously parts of this are going to resemble religions and philosophies people have already created. How the hell couldn't they? I can only think using things a human being can know.

So The Manyfold isn't supposed to be dogma.

It's my best current model.

If something proves part of it wrong, change the fucking model.

\---

THE CREATOR

At the top — or maybe more accurately surrounding everything — is what I call the Creator.

I don't picture the Creator as some old bastard sitting on a throne personally deciding whether my truck starts Tuesday morning.

The Creator is closer to the total underlying consciousness of existence.

But there is an important rule:

The Creator does not control individual experience.

That would ruin everything.

If the Creator makes you love somebody, makes them betray you, makes you forgive them, and then makes you feel healed afterward, none of that is truly spontaneous experience. It's a puppet show.

So the Creator creates possibility, not a screenplay.

Think of chess.

Someone can create the board and the rules without deciding every game that will ever be played. The rules contain an enormous number of possible games, but the players determine which game actually happens.

That's closer to my Creator.

The Creator establishes whatever fundamental rules reality needs. Different universes, dimensions, planets, or realms might operate under different rules, but everything operating inside a particular reality has to follow the rules of that reality.

The Creator doesn't cheat either.

And suffering isn't automatically “God's plan.”

Accidents happen. Biology happens. Natural laws happen. People freely make beautiful and absolutely horrible choices.

Without genuine uncertainty, the experiences wouldn't be genuine.

\---

PART ONE: THE SOUL

The Soul is the multidimensional individual consciousness — basically what people might call the Higher Self.

The Soul belongs to the larger collective consciousness, but it remains an individual.

That's important.

Being part of something larger does not mean individuality is fake. My hand is legitimately my hand, even though it's also legitimately part of me.

Same idea.

The Soul can incarnate into physical or otherwise localized forms to experience realities from inside them.

Maybe Earth isn't the only place it can do that. Maybe there are other planets, times, dimensions, forms of consciousness, or realities we haven't got the slightest fucking idea exist.

I don't claim that's scientifically proven.

It's simply allowed within the model.

The Soul's Rules

The Soul cannot control its Incarnate like a puppet.

It supplies the spark — breathes life into it, for lack of a better phrase — but once the Incarnate exists, that being has its own experience.

The Soul also cannot simply break whatever reality's rules it entered.

A Soul may exist beyond our normal experience of space and time, but if its Incarnate is human, that human doesn't suddenly walk backward into 1742.

The game has rules.

The Soul entered the game voluntarily, so it plays by them.

Its purpose is primarily to experience through incarnation and eventually bring that experience into the greater collective.

\---

PART TWO: THE INCARNATE

The Incarnate is the physical living being.

Right now, that's us.

And the Incarnate isn't just a meat costume the Soul drives around.

It becomes a genuinely new personality.

Family changes it.

Friends change it.

Trauma changes it.

Love changes it.

Bad decisions change it.

Helping people changes it.

Being an asshole changes it.

Curiosity, fear, sex, work, poverty, grief, humor, addiction, kindness, heartbreak, nature, animals, everything — all of it helps produce this specific person who never existed before.

That's why incarnation matters.

An all-knowing consciousness might understand the definition of grief.

That's different from standing in somebody's house after they died and suddenly seeing their coat still hanging by the door.

Information isn't feeling.

The Incarnate's Rules

The Incarnate gets no cosmic cheat sheet.

It doesn't normally remember the Soul's other experiences.

It doesn't know for certain what happens after death.

It has to make decisions using whatever it actually learns while living.

That's necessary because otherwise courage, faith, discovery, fear, love and uncertainty wouldn't mean the same thing.

The Incarnate also has genuine freedom within the limits of its reality.

So life isn't some cosmic exam where God already wrote every answer.

It's an actual experience.

And while you're alive, you're also unknowingly constructing the consciousness that comes next.

Because when the Incarnate dies, something is left behind.

\---

PART THREE: THE SPIRIT

This is probably the part of The Manyfold that separates it most strongly from a lot of traditional ideas:

The Spirit and the Soul are NOT the same thing.

The Soul came into the incarnation.

The Incarnate lived the life.

Their interaction creates something new:

the Spirit.

I originally compared it to burning a log. The fire happened, the log was transformed, and ash remains.

Or, in the much less spiritual version:

You eat a McDonald's Big Mac and eventually create a McShit.

Same general principle.

A process happened, and it produced something that wasn't there before.

Except the Spirit isn't waste.

It becomes self-aware.

In a weird way, Soul + Incarnate have created a child.

The Spirit's Rules

When the Incarnate dies, the Soul leaves.

The Spirit remains.

But the Spirit doesn't suddenly know everything the Soul knows.

That's crucial.

The Spirit wakes up basically knowing what the person knew.

It remembers the life.

It carries that person's personality, attachments, fears, love, resentment, guilt, understanding and whatever else they actually became.

It doesn't suddenly go:

“Ohhhhhh, right. I'm multidimensional. Here's the map back to God.”

That would defeat the purpose again.

Instead, the Spirit has another experience to undergo.

I call that environment or condition the Aether.

\---

THE AETHER

I don't mean the old scientific “luminiferous ether,” and I don't necessarily mean another numbered dimension.

The Aether is my word for a nonordinary layer of existence in which Spirits exist after incarnation.

It appears to overlap physical reality somehow, because Spirits may remain attached to places, people, objects or events.

And this is where ghosts fit.

A ghost isn't somebody's Soul that forgot where Heaven is.

A ghost is a Spirit that hasn't reintegrated.

Maybe it stays because it's terrified.

Maybe pissed off.

Maybe confused.

Maybe it loves somebody.

Maybe it doesn't understand that it's dead.

Maybe it loves a particular house.

Maybe it's obsessed with what happened there.

Maybe it simply chooses to hang around.

Different Spirit, different reason.

The really important part is that, while it exists independently in the Aether, the Spirit isn't automatically connected to the Collective Consciousness.

It has something the Soul didn't have:

temporary genuine metaphysical privacy.

\---

THE SPIRIT QUEST

After physical death, the Spirit is basically stuck with itself.

And I think that's where a lot of old religious ideas may have come from.

Imagine consciousness without all the distractions we use here.

No job.

No bills.

No getting drunk so you don't have to think.

No changing the subject.

No pretending you weren't wrong.

No physical survival constantly demanding your attention.

Just you and everything you became.

That could be what people have interpreted as judgment.

Except nobody is sitting behind a desk judging you.

You encounter yourself.

Maybe “hell” isn't God throwing somebody into a furnace.

Maybe hell is being unable to escape a mind filled with hatred, fear, guilt and shit you refuse to understand.

Maybe “purgatory” is working through it.

Maybe a “life review” is eventually understanding the effects your life had on other consciousnesses.

And then reciprocity comes back.

During life, I experience what it feels like when I help you.

You experience what it feels like to be helped.

Maybe during the Spirit stage, I eventually have to comprehend both.

Same thing with cruelty.

Not because the universe wants revenge.

Because complete experience requires perspective.

Maybe I eventually understand what my actions actually felt like from the other side.

That doesn't mean every random shitty thought somebody ever has earns them a thousand years in Ghost Jail. Human brains produce crazy garbage constantly.

It's the person you repeatedly create that matters.

\---

SPIRIT GUIDES

Now suppose a Spirit eventually figures out how to reintegrate with the Collective.

It could leave.

But what if it chooses not to yet?

Maybe it decides:

“I know how to get home. I'm going to help this other poor bastard first.”

There's your spirit guide.

No special angel species required.

No Creator handing out employee badges.

Just one Spirit helping another Spirit.

And once again:

Being guided is one experience.

Guiding someone is another.

Reciprocity.

Some Spirits might remain near descendants.

Some might stay near places they cared about.

Some may deliberately help newly dead Spirits who are confused.

Eventually, though, the Spirit can voluntarily release its isolated state and reintegrate with the larger consciousness.

And that's when something very important happens.

The Collective receives not just the Soul's experience of incarnation.

It also receives what that human consciousness became when it had to confront itself afterward.

That's the completed experience.

\---

THE WHOLE CYCLE

So the basic architecture of The Manyfold is:

Creator

↓

Soul / Higher Self

↓

Incarnate Life

↓

experience, relationships, choices and feelings

↓

Physical Death

↓

Soul withdraws

↓

Spirit emerges

↓

Aether / Spirit Quest

↓

understanding, wandering, attachment, helping, growth

↓

Voluntary Reintegration

↓

Collective Consciousness

↓

Creator

Then existence keeps unfolding through other Souls, other lives, other relationships and potentially other forms of reality.

\---

WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE

Obviously pieces of this resemble older ideas.

There's panentheism, where everything exists within God while God is greater than individual things.

There's process theology, which has versions of God participating in an unfolding reality rather than controlling every event.

Hindu and Vedantic traditions have Higher-Self, reincarnation and universal-consciousness ideas.

Buddhist traditions have post-death transitional concepts such as the bardo, although their understanding of souls is very different from mine.

Christianity has purgatory and judgment.

Karmic religions connect how somebody lives with later consequences.

Cultures all over the world have ghosts, ancestors, guides and beings that help the dead find their way.

And Jung talked about a collective unconscious, although that's psychology rather than my literal Collective Consciousness.

So yes, the pieces rhyme with other ideas.

Of course they fucking do.

Humans have been staring at death and asking “what the hell is going on here?” for thousands of years.

\---

WHAT MAKES THE MANYFOLD DIFFERENT

The key difference is the specific machinery:

Soul ≠ Incarnate ≠ Spirit.

The Soul is the multidimensional traveler.

The Incarnate is the genuinely independent being living the physical experience.

The Spirit is the new self-aware consciousness produced by that relationship.

And then there are hard rules:

The Creator doesn't control experiences.

The Soul doesn't control the Incarnate.

The Incarnate doesn't get cosmic knowledge.

The Spirit doesn't inherit the Soul's knowledge automatically.

The Spirit isn't automatically plugged into the Collective.

Nobody externally judges it.

And reintegration is eventually something the Spirit becomes capable of choosing.

That makes existence less like a monarchy and more like an enormous living ecosystem of consciousness.

\---

THE MOST IMPORTANT TAKEAWAY

The practical message of The Manyfold is surprisingly simple:

The consciousness you're building matters.

Not because God has a clipboard.

Not because having one fucked-up thought sends you to hell.

And not because you're supposed to become some smiling perfect holy person who never gets pissed off.

It matters because if consciousness survives physical death in anything resembling this model, eventually you may be left alone with the person you actually became.

So learn yourself.

Learn empathy.

Own your fuckups.

Help people when you can.

Accept help when you need it.

Learn how to forgive without becoming somebody's doormat.

Understand your anger instead of pretending you don't have any.

Stay curious.

Love people.

Let people love you.

Experience this strange fucking thing fully.

Because maybe the point isn't to escape being human.

Maybe the whole reason the Soul came here was because being human feels like something nothing else can reproduce.

And maybe death isn't graduation, punishment or oblivion.

Maybe it's simply the moment when the Soul finishes one experience and the Spirit begins another.

Eventually the Spirit understands enough to return.

What it brings back is something the Creator couldn't simply manufacture:

the authentic experience of having actually been you.

Question about your view on Spiritual Remembrance/Forgetfulness (plus additional fun question)

Hello I would like to get any of you peoples's thoughts on this specific topic, it will be of a beneficial nature for anyone who thinks and tries to grasp it.

You can also just let me know your thoughts on this, not matter good or bad, I'd be happy to hear everyone's opnion on this kidna stuff. Thank you in advance kind reader.

---
Question: Is (spiritual) remembrance and (spiritual) forgetfulness a means or driver of the pneumatic vehicle that leads souls 'out' or 'back' to the Source 'from whence it came'?

This very ancient idea of the 'lost soul'; is the one who forgot itself or its spiritual nature/identity.

Likewise, the 'All Knowing' or 'Prefected' soul, would become a term related to 'the one who remembers' or simply put 'knows itself' (from whence came the old saying (and practice also) of 'Know(ing) Thyself')

---
An additional purely fun and curiousity question here: If you had to take a guess, where do would you currently guess the state of your soul to be in right now, based on this cycle of remembrance/forgetfulness? Let's say from the deepest of the deepest crevices of forgetfulness (lost) to the absolute heights of self knowledge or wisdom and clarity???

I am truly hope some people will respond to this, curious and waiting for your response my dear reader.

I see Aether and it is clear to me that it is receptive to my communication/attention to it. Are there any books/resources/materials you can point me in the direct of to understand communicating with it more? I cant (and can) believe its been debunked by science - I see it everywhere so clearly!! It's absolutely real. Didn't even know the word for it for a while.

[Free e-book] for those who like their fiction somewhere in-between the spiritual and the unexplained.

I’ve always been fascinated by the strange things that sit at the edges of our understanding: the possibility of lives beyond the one we know, the mysteries of consciousness, the thin line between the seen and unseen, and the ways our ancestors understood a universe that still refuses to give up all its secrets.

These questions found their way into my new collection of stories, The Moon Knows All the Secrets of the World, Rooted in magical realism and African cosmology, the book explores strange encounters, memory, grief, love, identity, and the possibility that reality is far more mysterious than our ordinary lives allow us to believe.

I’m drawn to the thought that we might be connected to one another, and to the universe itself, in ways we haven’t yet learned to understand. We arrive in this world with so many questions, inherit stories from those who came before us, and leave with mysteries still unresolved. Perhaps some stories help us sit a little longer with those questions instead of rushing to answer them.

The book is free on Amazon for the next 72 hours

Read/download it here: https://www.amazon.com/Moon-Knows-all-Secrets-World-ebook/dp/B0HCFJ5J76/ref=books\\\\\\_amazonstores\\\\\\_mobile\\\\\\_nis\\\\\\_default?\\\\\\_encoding=UTF8&pd\\\\\\_rd\\\\\\_w=ODhkg&content-id=amzn1.sym.435556c5-06d7-4526-a37d-a99d4655f1b2&pf\\\\\\_rd\\\\\\_p=435556c5-06d7-4526-a37d-a99d4655f1b2&pf\\\\\\_rd\\\\\\_r=141-7396579-7116734&pd\\\\\\_rd\\\\\\_wg=faDz9&pd\\\\\\_rd\\\\\\_r=aff56acc-87cc-456a-96a9-3de317180d1f

If you decide to read it, I’d love to hear what you think. An honest review would also mean a great deal to me as an independent author.

I’m curious: What’s one strange or unexplained idea about existence that has stayed with you, even if you aren’t sure you believe it?

Do you have any Advice for a Buddhist Mystic?

I find that a lot of Western Buddhists are very dogmatic about Buddhism despite the Buddha never saying and in fact rejecting that we should believe what he says
(For Reference)
Now, Kalamas, don’t go by reports, by legends, by traditions, by scripture, by logical conjecture, by inference, by analogies, by agreement through pondering views, by probability, or by the thought, ‘This contemplative is our teacher.’ When you know for yourselves that, ‘These qualities are skillful; these qualities are blameless; these qualities are praised by the wise; these qualities, when adopted & carried out, lead to welfare & to happiness’ — then you should enter & remain in them.

It’s kinda to get what the Buddha is saying but I think he says to just see if this works for you and the teachings of the Dharma

So why is Western Buddhism so Dogmatic?
I literally talked about my Mystical experience as a New Buddhist and I got evangelicalised and told to read my Pali Canon
But I practice Zen-Vajrayana

Buddhism also feels dead, I think a lot of atheists come to Buddhism because it’s ‘atheistic’ while actually having a wide range of non-creation deities. It like just learning the teachings of the Buddha is a bit dead it makes me feel like when I die, I am just gone from existence entirely.

So I don’t know, maybe I am looking at the wrong Sangha and maybe I need to find a Mystic Sangha

Have you had a similar experience?

I'm looking for a religion

I don't currently believe in any religion, I'm looking for a religion in which there is a creator, I have a panentheistic view of the universe: I believe that the universe is within God and God is much bigger than the universe so we are part of God, I would like a religion or philosophy of life that adopts this thought or one close to it but in any case anything is fine with me, I would also like to be able to do cute rituals and relaxing things and connecting with myself and the nature, set up an altar or oratory at home and wear symbols too thank you❤️

The Secret Book of John, an illustrated retelling, preached as a series (Sunday service video)

Shawn is preaching a short series through the illustrations of his newly published book, "The Secret Book of John" — an illustrated retelling of the Nag Hammadi text. Each Sunday service takes one of the book's illustrations as its text: the aeons, the fall of Sophia, the archons, and the path of return to ultimate reality. This week's service video is here: https://www.youtube.com/live/dfDyTCAhg9c?si=jV75_gCHSZRuo5E0&t=120 — would love to hear how others here relate Gnostic cosmology to their own mystical practice. #secretbookofjohn #NagHammadi #SundayService

Looking for serious book recommendations on mysticism (Christian and beyond)

Hello,

I'm taking the liberty of posting here because I'm not really sure where I should be looking.

For several years now, I've oriented my personal research toward the question of the artistic and aesthetic experiences that lead one to live through particular states (experiences of trance, the feeling of being deeply grounded in one's life, etc.). This led me to pursue studies in order to push this question further, and I eventually came to study extreme experiences and music that passes through the body (Noise in particular).

Having also followed a degree in Philosophy, this led me to build up a body of knowledge around questions of Truth, freedom, the Absolute, transcendence, etc. That's how I noticed that a whole set of ideas and words interested me in a very particular way: ecstasy, trance, the experience of transcendence, living intensely, the extraordinary experience, touching the extreme in order to redefine the central, sublimation, catharsis, etc.

After a relatively recent reading of the Bible, I came across the tradition of the mystics (Christian ones above all, with Teresa of Ávila, John of the Cross, Marguerite Porete...), and I had the impression of finding something fairly aligned with my personal experiences and my research — moving from Aesthetics and art toward something more general, and in this case connected to God. Although I'm not originally a believer as such, I find a strong interest in it, and my field of research has broadened, with the integration of new words that line up with what moves me: grace, revelation, admiration, beatitude, wonder, enthusiasm, ravishment, etc. I've come to open up onto fields that are fairly unknown to me, namely the whole esoteric domain — trying not to get lost in dogmatism and closed-off beliefs, I try to remain as open as possible to any framework of interpretation, in order to find the path that is my own, even if that's difficult.

My problem has become the following: I'm moving forward somewhat blindly, and I have trouble seeing clearly in the mystical domain (Christian, Sufi...) and the esoteric domain. So my question is simple:

  • Do you have any references to books or authors that would help me see things more clearly in the field of mysticism (Christian or otherwise)? General but serious works, handbooks...?

I think that would help me a great deal to see more clearly and to navigate more easily in this vast space.

Wonder Who I Think You Are, Really?

Your own "I Am"—the simple, wordless sense that you exist, humming beneath every thought—

is not separate from the great "I Am" of Spirit.

It is the same Presence, aware of itself, as you.

That's the whole teaching. Stripped to its bones. 🌟

Source and Force- a poem

My body is a temple of the Source

The world contains its animating force

Behind the natures of all things

Behind the four causes of a thing:

Form, matter, cause, goal,

Let me demonstrate this whole

Take the shape of a tree

The wood and leaves of a tree

The planter of the seed of the tree

The goal of the growth of the tree

And this goes back to the animating force

And that goes back to the Source

As I mediate on this beauty

and on the beauty of virtuous activity

And seek to practice it in my life

by seeking to avoid excess and strife

I ascend back to the Source

And become one with the animating force.

A man from India, a man from Nepal,

A man from Nazareth born of a virgin,

All were animated by the animating force,

Straight from the Source,

All to preach virtue.

The man from India counseled a Prince

Helping him follow his destiny into battle.

The Man from Nepal was a Prince

Who left it all for a life of Enlightenment.

And the Man from Nazareth born of a virgin

was crucified and rose again and ascended.

And that is what makes Him so special.

Because we all have the Source.

But we must awaken to it.

Novice horse. The actual event went well, and then the deity left (this was all on plan, I was lucid as requested- there were no problems). When he left, I could feel him flowing out of me and then there was such an overwhelming sense of grief that I had not anticipated. Has anyone else felt like this at the end of an experience?

The illusion of separation collapses when you become the instrument…

In classical mystical traditions, from advaita vedanta and hermeticism to Spinoza’s pantheism, the core thesis remains consistent: the boundary between the observer and the observed, human consciousness and nature, is an illusion (Maya).

Recently, I’ve been researching how David Rosenboom’s 1976 work (Biofeedback and the Arts) provides a modern, technological framework for this exact non-dual experience through biosonification.

In traditional music, the relationship is dualistic and executive: a conscious subject manipulates an external, inert object. But when we route biological signals, galvanic skin response (GSR), plant tissue electrolytes, and micro-resistance, into synthesizer parameters, that hierarchy collapses. The performer stops being a controller and becomes simultaneously the signal emitter, the generating medium, and the receiver of the experience.

In a recent experiment using capacitive circuit technology (a Playtron device), I mapped the physical flow of electricity through human skin and a living rose.

In electrical engineering, generalized Ohm’s Law defines the current flow across a series circuit as:

I = V_USB / (R_body + R_plant + R_contact + R_internal)

What fascinated me from a contemplative standpoint is the unforgiving nature of the physical circuit:

The open circuit (I = 0): If the practitioner drifts away, withdraws physical touch, or loses presence, resistance (R) approaches infinity. The current stops instantly, the MIDI signal dies, and the sound collapses into silence.

The closed circuit (I > I_threshold): Sound requires sustained, embodied presence. The micro-variations in skin hydration, contact pressure, and autonomic nervous system arousal directly modulate the acoustic output in real time.

In traditional passive meditation, you observe internal mental processes in isolation. Here, we enter an embodied mindfulness (Ouroboros loop): your biological conductivity alters the sound, the sound alters your cortical focus and nervous system state, which immediately shifts your biological conductivity again.

To ground this theoretical research into actual praxis, I recorded a live sound meditation performance. By touching a rose connected to a capacitive MIDI controller, my body acted as the conductive bridge completing the electrical loop, driving a sound design tuned specifically to the 396 Hz Solfeggio frequency (associated with grounding and releasing energetic blockages)

Instead of treating music as a static, pre-recorded file, this exercise treats sound as a living ecosystem where human physiology, botanical matter, and technology co-create in the present moment…

Do you view cybernetic feedback and technology as a potential bridge to genuine non-dual experience, or does true contemplation require complete detachment from technological artifacts?

I've been born on this very day in 1986.

I've seen a lot, physical and metaphysical.

For me as a child it was long a hidden reality I couldn't share with anyone.

So I forgot to speak and live from my perceived knowledge which I've brought into this life and which has manifested in and around me.

Living my life was the best I've ever experienced whenever magic or what humans call spirituality was mirrored back to me.

Often through movies, stories, animes, cĂłmics, world's where fantasy is been unlimited by what humans thought truly would or wouldn't exist.

Very late in my life I've discovered groups where these things, which I've always known since birth were taught and spoken about. It was and maybe is still, called energy healing, manifestation, and divination of all sorts and kinds.

But what puzzled me the most was, how far has it come with society that these very things, which children KNOW exist, are being untrained, cut down, just to make them adults who later on Re-discover what has been taken away from them by not talking about it.

New to Spirituality

Hey Y’all,

So I am a newbie to spirituality. I am wondering if this is the same as “awakening”? I have severe adhd so it’s hard for me to really sit still and meditate so unfortunately I can’t tap into any gifts I may have but I have been told on three occasions in my life that I have a beautiful soul and I didn’t even know them. I had an encounter where I know what I saw but good forbid I say it, I would be put in the looney bin. Ever since Jefferey Epstein, I fell down some rabbit holes and realized how sick this world really is. Everything I thought and learned from childhood was and is not as it seems and it’s unfathomable. I think I was most hurt by the fact that our leaders or the people that we admired growing up are doing the unimaginable and it’s legal in their world. It just makes me sick.

So once I realized the world wasn’t what it was, I started researching a lot. I don’t know if what I am looking at is called spiritual or a mix of other things but I would really like assistance as to what this means and where the line in the sand should be drawn or should everything be embraced?

I started to educating myself by watching spirituality videos and I feel I’m so overwhelmed with everything and I’m confused if these are all in the same category? I don’t want to go the wrong way and I don’t have any mentors or coaches. I want to make changes in my life, myself and for my future. But I want to be present now. I have been learning about meditation and frequencies, parallel universes, entities, the matrix, dimensions, portal, time travel, quantum physics, telepathy, using your energy to move things, hypnotherapy, soul swapping, aliens, manifestation, science, orbs, the sun and the moon, re-incarnation, the devil, free masons, grounding, spirits, that reality isn’t what it really is and this is one big Truman show. Mainly focusing on what else is out in space and what happens after death.

I have really gotten into the sky and have seen hundreds of orbs since I started this journey at the beginning of the summer.

I realized this summer my mom will always be the way she is no matter how hard I try to show her who I am she will not invest in me because I’m not at her level but I appreciate her investment in my children. I dropped any friends I had realizing that we were just at a fork in the road and if I wanted to “switch to a better timeline”, I had to let go of that friendship.

I know I’m all over the place but I am hoping someone can tell me something. Is this normal?

Should I abstain from m4sturbat1on in order to get better at mysticism?

So basically, mysticism and witchcraft. Meditative. (Am 17M for background)

I want to "gain visibility" that is to understand the subtle spiritual things around me, energies and all. Intuition.

I can somewhat understand vaguely, getting better at though an extremely slow rate.

Maybe even things like "the 3rd eye" in the future ... Once I am certain of being ready.

Also interested in understanding and/or meeting ancestors.

Of course, the ultimate point of mysticism. Union with God and understand god's expanse.

Shiva/Rudra centric, not following any sect. Know a little Upanishads and rigvedic indra.

Is abstaining from this particular form of self-pleasure necessary? If not, will it help in any way?

Books and Quotations

All quotation is, in a sense, quoting one’s self. You tell me your religion, and you tell me who you are. The selection of book or leader is in the eye of the beholder, or it is the rock upon which we find ourselves after the latest storm. Our eye omits the inconsistencies and our ears are deaf to subtler tones beyond our kin. So we define ourselves precisely.

We can completely throw off the training wheels of book quotations, but we will read ourselves elsewhere anyway, and quote that. Yet when the thoughts are ours at last, then our text may not be so peppered with quotation marks, unless out of respect or modesty—yet the communal obligation remains. We could try to quote pure Space but to do so we will borrow some words. Is it exaggeration to say that anything short of the absolute is quotation? We try to shrink the footnotes toward the number one. But the thoughts in space and in print are dense as stars, and we will be hard pressed to avoid quotation. It would be ideal to quote ourselves in spirit, but the best thoughts floating there are fully communal. We may fail to number our references explicitly, yet the communal ghost of our pasts, the legions who have occupied us down the ages, these still circulate freely in us.

Citing ones’ own thought is no guarantee of improvement over book quotes. A careless demonstration from book or brain is equally flat. A source without light is a source without light, weather concocted from pieces of stuff presumably “original” to one’s own cranium or drawn from ink laid down by other humans. And a prejudice housed in book or brain, and passed along has the same lack of merit.

We have a whole beach full of quotations. In the morning light I can’t see the minute bits mirroring the sun, only the shinning path. When we leave Earth behind, these grains will be a memory, and we will trade them for stars. Meanwhile, we may submit thesis and antithesis about the relative dullness or luminosity of this or that point. It is good exercise for future astronauts.
