Hullo there Mr Jumpy Moustache!
I'm sorry to say that my summer has been every bit as miserable as the rest of the past couple of years due to a combination of health issues and my being a crabbit old curmudgeon. Hopefully my body is done being vindictive for the meantime now though and equally hopefully my crabbitness will likewise improve as a result. If not I might need to get a note from my Mum to excuse my relative absence from the internet.
Anyway, I hope things have been going a bit better for you than for me since we last spoke and that you enjoy the furnace-like heat that I understand Aussie summers to be made of. Your winters might be closer to a comfortable temperature for me - climate change even has me finding a Scots summer uncomfortably warm these days... that might also be down to old age too though.
I'm assuming that the currawong is a local Australian bird rather than a band? I hope their song is as delightful as their name. Either way it has to be more melodious than the fucking gulls that I'm usually greeted with first thing!
