Every recording in this archive is technically illegal under federal law, and the collector kept that fact quiet for four decades because exposure meant lawsuits he couldn't afford to fight.

But as the tapes began to disintegrate, he felt pushed to release them online for free anyway, and the artists whose performances he captured have responded in ways nobody involved seems willing to discuss on the record.

Several of these recordings preserve shows from rooms that closed years ago and legendary bands whose reputations were still quite unknown at the time.

Aadam Jacobs Collection, Internet Archive

I have quite a bit of albums downloaded and scrolling through them can be a bit annoying sometimes since I have so many albums downloaded so I was wondering are there music players out there they have big grid type layouts? I use musicolet and their limit is 5 so I'd prefer to find an app that offers more.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a song that was deleted from SoundCloud and was exclusive to the platform.

I've tried searching via the Wayback Machine and fan uploads on YouTube, but couldn't find it.

Here are the details I remember/have:

- Artist Name: Ohnomatopee

- Track Title: Djarjar Boogey Corporation

- Genre / Style: Psytrance

I don't have the SoundCloud link.

If anyone happens to have this MP3 saved in their archive or knows an active link/mirror, please PM me or leave a comment! I would really appreciate it.

It's very important to me.

Thank you ever since!

Was curious to know whether such a thing existed that would allow me to be able to tag my songs/albums just as I would on desktop but for mobile. It only hit me now that I've been doing it all this time on desktop through out the years but never thought to ask whether there was something reliable for my phone. FWIW, I use an iPhone.

I noticed my ipad didn't have a flac player. Not an emergency as my android phone has a couple.

My current phone has a potential crack in the screen. I was considering going to the darkside for the first time but a good flac player will be the decision maker. I'd want to use it to play my songs in my car and I don't want to convert any of them. If I convert them then I have to keep track of two sets of music - I get a new song in flac then I have to convert it and put it in the right folder - not gonna happen.

Does anyone have a recommendation? (other than converting the files). To be clear I do not want to stream them. I'd like to be able to play them without any wifi or cell or network.

Thanks.

If you don't stream, how do you buy music these days?

Are CDs still a thing?

What is music on now if you aren't downloading it?
