Any basic land type is pretty crazy. This gets duals, triomes, surveils, whatever. If you're into Alchemy, this is great.

Out of all the Alchemy-only clauses, remembering which player was on the play is one of the least eggregious ones for such a payoff. Finding ANY land with basic types and having it not enter tapped is demential

Technically there is a card that card if you AREN'T going first in normal magic, but ONLY if it's in your opening hand. [[Gemstone Caverns]], so i think its not THAT much of a stretch to use this effect in paper

I'm full proxy and I've run Alchemy cards before, and this is an absolute slam dunk. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets a paper printing a la [[Forsaken Crossroads]] further down the line.

Yeah, this card is just a great design. Including cards that minimize the first players advantage in Cube is just smart.

Great card that I'll happily run if it gets printed in paper

Wish it just entered tapped on the first 3 turns for the starting player

Fetches are already ridiculous, already included in too many cubes, environment warping monsters when they're limited to 2 colors. This thing gets any typed land ever printed, and also etbs untapped most of the time.

Seems a bit absurd.

Looks pretty busted to me. Only saving grace is if you're on the play searching up a tapped land it's two turns worth of tapped lands which is a pretty big setback. I still don't think that matters much because 1. You can just get an untapped land if you need to and 2. Imagine your Fabled Passage being able to fetch a triome or surveil?? Still seems awesome despite the setback.

Sweet card! Will definitely be getting a proxy of this

Edit: Actually, I thought it entered untapped after the first turn, always being tapped if you went first brings it down a lot for me. I'd rather just have gemstone caverns

This is one of the best sideboard cards. On par with gemstone mine. It might even be a main deck card, it is close. Too bad I do not consider it a real magic card. I hope they print this in black border, so it meets the criteria for my cube.
