Hey so, with mw4 coming out, i’m a bit conflicted, for some backstory i’ve been in the last maybe 5-6 months been really heavy into cod, so much so going on hunts to play older cods, anyways with me being new to cod I’m essentially new to multiplayer as well, with that being said, i don’t ig have the feel to notice certain things with how the game runs. I got the mw4 beta, i liked it but didn’t, i kinda let youtubers like tdawgsmitty and other kinda skewed how i feel about it unintentionally, but now i’m kinda like damn i want it. Ig my question is, would you wait for the game to go on sale or get it @ release? And even if i get in by christmas, wouldn’t i be way too behind to even start playing mw4?

I'm done with BOTlefield. I need something new, and I'm betting on MW4. Bring it on!

can we as a collective please stop calling it dmz 2 and warzone 5? its just dmz and its still only wz 2.0.
mwII had dmz beta, so therefor its just dmz in mw4, and mwII started wz2.0, and since then it has not been announced as wz 3.0+ (though if wz 3.0 were to happen itd be mw4 or the next cod game), but can we please just keep calling it dmz and wz2? its funny how many people dont use them.

DMZ looks fun, did play a lot of tarkov.

Generally looking for “quick” fun so regular MP should do the job as well I guess

I usually don't play the campaigns but I did play and finished MW2 (2009)

Would I be lost in the story without playing the previous ones?

I have the pre-ordered vault edition and installed everything yet i'm stuck on the main page and its saying mw4 not installed even though all the mw4 packs (campaign, multiplayer and DMZ) are actually installed, do i srsly need to install warzone and/or black ops 7 just to play this ??

I mainly play on PC, but Activision’s licensing rules are a nightmare — the digital purchase is locked to the Microsoft/Xbox account that bought it. That means if you try to launch COD on PC with a different Activision account, it won’t work and you’re forced to buy another license. It feels pretty anti‑consumer, but it’s been this way for years and doesn’t look like it’ll change.

On console, though, I believe game sharing across multiple profiles on the same device still works?

So if I buy the game and want both myself and my son to play (at different times), is console the only viable option? PC seems completely locked down. I tried every workaround I could think of with Black Ops on Game Pass and none of it worked.

Is there any method on PC that actually allows two profiles to play the same purchased COD title, or is console the only realistic path?

This is a dumb question, and I think I know the answer, but I am looking for experts to confirm.

I know I can't actually play MW4 yet, but I preordered and downloaded it to my PS. All I have currently CoD wise is the DMZ portion of MW2. So, in my app launcher all I have is the MW2 app. Again, MW4 downloaded as an add-on to that. How do I actually access MW4, which I should be able to at least launch the game now although I know I'll get server connection errors.

Do I need to download the CoD Home app at another 28GB? On the PS store it was updated to look like the new CoD, but when you click in to download it It shows you three options all with the older images with the doom crossover I think. I assume I download the home app and ignore the other two that are all named the exact same thing? Also, when I went to options, it was trying to install BO7/Warzone.

SSD space is at a premium so I want to be sure I get this right.

Here, if I pull the pin out of a grenade, and I’m near a group of enemies within range, and that grenade goes off, I shouldn’t get killed alone, they should be coming with me to the shadow realm, you get what I’m saying? If I hold a Molotov and I drop dead, that Molotov should drop hard enough to break and ignite the area. ITS CALLED REALISM!!

I’m here playing these other CoD’s especially MWII shipment 24/7 and kinda enraged about how nobody gets killed from a person holding a live grenade or lethal. How IW? I don’t get it!

Does anyone know if I can stream the campaign or not? Dispite cod posting on that godforbidden x app about no spoilers? I’m genuinely confused.

Are people still able to use the glitch on PC to get into multiplayer early?? If so is anyone willing to add me so I can join? You can unadd me afterwards I just don't have access to a PC or keyboard so I can't try to do it myself

With the campaign releasing tomorrow there are countless people who have been involved and interested in the story since it was rebooted in 2019. Also remember not everyone is doing campaign early access so lets please keep the story spoilers to a minimum. If you feel you have to be "that guy" please just don't or at the very least use the hidden text feature.

Do yall think that there will be an Ac-130 mission in the new campaign since there was at least 1 in the previous MW games?

I own the three games from the MW reboot, and I was thinking about buying this one to complete the collection. Is this game worth it, or is it just more of the same?

Everything just updated again and now the icon looks like this. I wish it was true, but it’s not but my PlayStation is telling me that I can play the campaign and multiplayer right now. That would be nice. There is still more updates pending in the queue. I am so glad I left 700 GB available after downloading the five data packs, and I’m sure there is more to come so I might be deleting more. I never played black ops seven campaign or multiplayer so I can delete that shared content. I can delete the MWIII Campaign packs. I have nothing carrying over because I never bought any skins so pretty much everything is getting deleted from call of duty HQ except anything MW4 related. If anyone has PlayStation five and has any questions or needs help with anything … feel free to ask.

I wanted to get on mw4 tonight before the campaign early release tomorrow. I pre-ordered the game in august, but today when checking it on steam the only option for me was to “uninstall”. I pressed uninstall cause I assumed it had to have an update or something, but with that it was COMPLETELY erased from my steam library.

Looking at the game on the store it still says that it’s in my library, but will not actually show there and won’t give me an option to play it like my other games. Is this just a temporary thing that’ll be fixed tomorrow? Do I have to buy it again??
