Wellbutrin and Modafinil combo NSFW

So I started taking 100mg Sr Wellbutrin twice a day for about 3 months now. It was 100mg 1x a day until the 2nd week, but I went 2 weeks at 100mg Sr a day cause I've heard bad stories about ramping up too quickly. I adapted well I guess, no bad side effects. Only thing I noticed at first was a slight raise in heart rate and a bit of energy throughout the work day.

I just started incorporating 150mg Modafinil a day into the routine.

I usually take my Wellbutrin first thing when I wake up around 8pm (i work 3rd shift) and take half of the dose, so 75mg. Then around 12am or so, ill take the other 75mg of modafinil. Then 8 hours later at 4am, ill take my 2nd dose of 100mg Sr wellbutrin. I still can sleep great, no insomnia, may have found my stack I need to actually feel like myself.

The Wellbutrin is a generic, from Camber.

# stacking options – modafinil 50mg + ?? lets discuss all. NSFW

learned it a hard way that most of the stacking options are incompatible with modafinil.

let discuss:

  1. tyrosine – modafinil already does decent DAT inhibition, & adding tyrosine is like flooding the dam which is being created.

  2. alcar – modafinil already raise Acetylcholine in optimal zone, & adding alcar might work for some time or add energy inconsistently. yet not absolutely needed.

  3. nicotine gums/pouches – damnn it makes you or breaks you, works outstanding a few times in month followed by receptor fatigue. i use just 0.5mg gum & yet it eventually adds cerebral fatigue. also you cant technically stack a phasic dopamine stim over a tonic(modafinil) one.

  4. caffeine anhydrous – omg the guilty pleasure, everyone its bad to add yet it feels so recreational over modafinil, it gives you delusional of being productive but youre trypping on music. vasoconstriction, surpassed inverted U curve are just a few of dozens of side effects which comes stacking caffeine over modafinil. some other forms are gentle but fundamental problem stays the same.

  5. pregab – oh my gosh i may get downvoted for this but yesss to many folks pregab feels perfect with modafinil but its actually blunting your prefrontal cortex as well. i have never used to beyond 37.5-75mg, only as a tool when my stress/stimulation is too high. i either need loads of taurine or pregab once in a while only since it is a VGCC. both pregab and clon are rescue tools, i wud suggest to respect it.

  6. vit b / c / d – havent seen much meaningful stacking value till date. C flushes out, B kinda overstimulates or supplies mid-day neurofactor synthesis juice, D is too much high on modafinil day but can randomly add serotonin-like tone if depleted.

  7. cdp choline – i think choline depletion is kinda overrated or choline has to be supplied on recovery days. again modafinil also raises ach so cdp choline can backfire in a way your pfc is blunted.

that said, modafinil is already a broad spectrum stimulant but it feels a bit robotic-like cold depending on dose. 50mg feels damn happy onset & 100mg feels too locked-in. what you also need sometimes is DMN flexibility and broader internal monologue and stacking caff/nico surely destroys it giving a false sense of productivity. but ive also worked rarely 20hrs a day on modcaffnico. good combo to stay damn awake just for the sake of it without any guarantee of staying functional & cognitive in true sense

what else works fundamentally great for you stacking with modafinil ???

Cutting a 300mg dose and taking 1/4? NSFW

I occasionally take 50mg (100mg cut in half) and on major project days I’ve taken 100mg. But now all I have are a bunch of 300mg tablets and Armodafinil 250mg tablets. I’d like to cut the 300mg tabs, and only take 1/4 but is that an okay thing to do? I just know 300mg is way too much for me.

Anyone have it cause ischemia like symptoms? Morning metabolic crashes or cortisol dump waking up? NSFW

I never figured out the trigger, but we kinda know the indirect root cause. I have ESLD/ESRD, and survived HRS 1/2 without any transplants for four years which is incredibly rare.

I thought I was out of the woods last year. Said some shit like that, and cursed myself lol. Don't tempt fate.

Started pushing myself November helping out for the holidays, and NOT eating.

Ended up crashing Black Friday. Woke up thinking I had an allergic reactions(lump moving through my throat) five minutes of that my left arm started acted up, and then heart followed suit. Called 911.

Up until then I generally handled anything horrible well. This was different.

Medikinet MR/CR vs Modafinil NSFW

Hi all,

Ever since moving to a different country I have been looking for something similar to Modafinil since Modafinil is not available in my country. I was prescribed Ritalin 60mg, but for some reason was given medikinet CR 20mg 3x daily instead.

This is honestly the closest thing to Modafinil and I am definitely bringing this up with my new psychiatrist. I am really liking it so far. Just wanted to share. AMA.

Morning nausea and exhaustion NSFW

Hey everyone, looking for similar experiences or advice.

I usually wake up around 6:30 AM and take 200mg Modalert with my morning supplements (magnesium, fish oil, and choline), all on an empty stomach. Then I walk my dog for about half an hour.

When I get out of the shower and get ready to start working, I start feeling really nauseous and tired. I don't usually eat breakfast until around 10:00 AM, so all of this happens fasted and I usually drink a cup of coffee beforehand.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? I'm not sure whether it's the Modalert, the supplements, the empty stomach, or some combination.

Will caber + proviron + armodafinil overstimulate the dopaminergic system? NSFW

I use caber to shorten my refractory period and proviron because my free vs total test distribution is messed up. I'm not sure if armodafinil would overstimulate my dopaminergic system because modafinil isn't a stimulant in the way something like adderall is, but still works on the dopamine system. Has anyone had a similar combination of something like pramipexole with other stimulants and did a problem occur from it?

Modafinil for an exam NSFW

I have a pretty important exam in 5 days so I bought some modafinil. I was thinking I’ll just take small doses ( like 50mg ) for 2-3 of the 4 days of revision I have before the exam but then I wasn’t sure wether to take some the day of the exam also. Any advice on dose, how many of the 4 revision days I should/could take it for without messing my sleep up and then wether it’s advisable to take it for the exam as well

100mg started a week ago, feeling nothing? NSFW

As the title says, I really don’t feel much? Still need afternoon naps. When I first took it I felt kind of “locked in” but that went away quickly. People talk about benefits, side effects, and I’m just waiting for something to happen. Is my dopamine broken?

When people say they get headaches on modafinil or armodafinil, where are the headaches usually localized on the head?

What doeage of flmodafinil is comparable to 150mg of armodafinil? NSFW

Looking into flmodafinil as it's very easy to get and still largely unregulated, but one thing confuses me - flmodafinil is presumably a racemic mix of R- amd S- flmodafinil, and while the fluorine itself prolongs duration, one would assume that the discrepancy between clearance rates between enantiomers still applies.

With that in mind, if one is used to 150mg of Armoda and can handle its duration without insomnia, what would be the equivalent in flmodafinil? I realise we can't be exact about this without actual clinical research but just a ballpark would be incredibly helpful!

Companies changing up shape NSFW

I have been using alembic and Avet, and they both use to be rectangles. Very easy to break in half. Now they both switched to awful awful rock hard ovals. Near impossible to break without a cutter. Why do they do these change ups after so many years?

Modafinil in Dresden NSFW

Guys, sorry to bother you. I’m reaching out because I feeling myself pretty bad now.

I was prescribed modafinil in Ukraine due to an autoimmune condition and some related issues. It helps a bit with anhedonia and gives me enough energy to function and work. Back home, it’s available without a prescription and can even be bought at regular sports nutrition stores.

Here, though, I haven’t been able to get it of course, and I’ve been feeling progressively worse without it. I’ll only be here until around September 30 I guess.

Would anyone happen to know where I could see a doctor or pharmacy that could help me get a legitimate short-term supply while I’m here? I’d really appreciate any advice. Maybe someone could sell me a blister pack, or at least 3–5 tablets? I would be very grateful.

Anyway, thanks in advance.

Weird sweating side effect? NSFW

been taking moda daily for a few weeks with some days off, and noticed a very weird side effect that goes away when I'm not on it (sometimes it doesn't)

I start excessively sweating but ONLY from my armpits and palms. It can be freezing cold and I'm absolutely dry everywhere else, but my armpits are freaking LEAKING. And my hands are always damp and sticky now. I wash them and... they're still sticky.

It resulted in some kind of small rash on my palms. I thought it might be histamine-related, so I tried combating it with loratadine (nothing has helped yet, but it's only day 2), but now I suspect it might just be some kind of skin reaction to constantly being damp.

I don't have any rash anywhere else, only on my palms. Never had anything like this before.

Couldn't find anything related to this on the web, so maybe someone has had a similar experience?

Really don't wanna drop moda because it helps me way too much with life

Why Am I Getting Sleepy on First Dose NSFW

Taking Moda for ADHD purposes for about two months. 400mg give or take for a while, but cut my dose down to 100 on the advice of, well, everyone. With 400, i’m pretty much locked in an ready to go immediately. With 100 I have the exact same effects, but i’ve noticed i’ll get very sleepy first, usually for about an hour. What’s the deal there? Lol

Been taking Modalert 100 since a month, Just helps a bit with staying awake but does nothing for focus NSFW

I had started taking it to deter the effects of low sleep and for focus.

It just moderately helps with the effects of lack of sleep. I feel fatigued the entire day so can't say that it's perfectly helping me.

My main concern was focus, WHICH IT ABSOULTELY DOESN'T HELP WITH.

My overall experience with it isn't as pleasant or helpful I thought that it would be, Am I doing something wrong? or is it the way it is supposed to be?

Looking for a US based Modafinil-friendly telehealth provider NSFW

Hey folks.  Although I'm sure I fit the criteria for sleep work shift disorder, my PCP doesn't prescribe Modafinil, so I'm searching for a telehealth provider here in the US that's thought of as being Mod-friendly.  The only one I've found so far is Klarity, but they're wanting almost 3 bills for a first-time appointment.  I'm sure you get it from out of the country, but I'd rather do it legally.

Does anyone have a telehealth provider suggestion please?  thanks

Constant sunburn feeling/skin pain and body aches after months on Modafinil—anyone else? NSFW

Hi everyone,
I’ve been taking Modafinil for a couple of months now, usually about 3 to 6 times a week. Over the last few weeks, I’ve developed a constant, unexplained skin pain that feels exactly like a severe sunburn or like my hair is being pulled.
It is mainly concentrated on my extremities (arms/legs). My skin looks completely normal there is no rash, redness, bumps, or peeling but it is incredibly sensitive. If my clothes rub against my skin, it flares up and feels about 5 times worse. Alongside this skin burning, my entire body feels heavy and achy.
Because Modafinil has warning labels about serious skin reactions, I am planning to stop taking it today to see if my system resets, but I currently don't have health insurance, making it difficult to just pop into a doctor's office right away.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of nerve sensitivity, burning, while taking Modafinil? If you stopped the medication because of it, how long did it take for the sunburn sensation and body aches to go away?
Any insights, similar experiences, or advice on managing the discomfort would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Modafinil elongates my wake and my sleep cycle for days after taking? NSFW

So basically even 50mg will lengthen my wake cycle to eg 22 hours followed by a 16 hour sleep. Then it takes some time for my sleep to return back to normal. Anyone else have this?

Any tricks to have it excrete faster or lower the half life? Failing that I’m guessing I just go for lower doses, 12.5mg?

Started Modafinil to combat SSRI side effects NSFW

Started Modafinil a couple days ago for sleepiness, fatigue and brain fog caused by high dose SSRI. Cut the pill into 25 mg to start, took that for a couple days. Could tell a difference for sure, but needs a bit more I think so will try 50mg tomorrow. Been suffering with this for years so fingers crossed it works out!
