This image had every parents, church, and magazines in an uproar at the time. But P didn't give a Fu\*k - That's what made him Prodigy🕊️

Hanging from a jesus piece chain, Durag said "MURDA MUZIK THE MOVIE"- whole Mobb was at their most controversial and most Legendary. This album went platinum with all most No Radio. just pure street aura.

RIP to the most natural artistic rapper from NY (QB)

90's Boom Bap song inspired by the infamous, appreciate any feedback.

i listened to the whole juvenile hell album for the first time yesterday, boy oh boy… i love mobb deep, but that album is terrible. there were about 4 songs that i actually liked, peer pressure, hit it from the back (those 2 songs have already been in my playlist for a while now), stomp em out, and flavor for the non-believes. now, i will admit that they did show flashes of their potential on this album, it was an ok start to their musical career and the albums they put out after really made up for it.

For me, it’s G.O.D. Pt. III.
The first time I heard it, I was shook. Like—where do you live where teenagers will casually shoot a handgun 20 times out of an apartment window?!?!
What makes the track so great is how cinematic it is. When I hear “running for dear life,” I don’t just hear a rap song—I picture a horror movie. Dark hallways. People scattering. Somebody being hunted.
The album is called Hell on Earth, and if you listen to it straight through, you understand exactly why. To me, G.O.D. Pt. III is the climax of the movie—the moment where everything the album has been building toward becomes completely terrifying.
What’s yours?

Ay Hip Hop Community!
I Found out that my Vinyl is extinct on discogs and it has a pretty interesting backstory as well. Its a promotional copy for prodigys (rip) second solo Album. Its name is „payback“ from 2001 with E-Moneybags who died 2001 (rip). The Song with E is a Jay-Z Diss on the B side. I bought it in a record store without an offical looking cover just with the tracklist on a Black cover. Does anyone know more about this?
Thank you in Advanced!

Why didn't Prodigy and Hav put Noyd in the group and make it a three man team? Every feature he was on with them, he killed it. They could've been better than D-Block with more longevity. A third person adds another style and frankly more shit to talk about which translates to more albums. Noyd was good, but not enough buzz to start off as a solo act, on all the songs he features with them his verses are my favorite.

is it crazy to say that amerikaz nightmare is my favorite mobb deep album? this album has SO MANY HITS ON IT, from flood the block to dump to one of ours and not to mention got it twisted. it could very much compete with the infamous, hell on earth, and murda muzik.

Mobb Deep - Crawlin (remix / mashup) with Radiohead - Videotape

Later released as Power Raps on QB's Finest (2001)

Fucked up and real shitty.

It’s just one of those days. The fact that Mobb Deep has a quote for my every emotion is my one ray of sunshine.

“Recorded this freestyle in my DAW over the Survival of the Fittest instrumental. Theme is modern conflict mixed with historical imagery. Looking for feedback from real boom‑bap heads.”

Can you please recommend some modern rappers or rap groups that have a similar vibe as Mobb Deep?

I haven’t kept up with rap in the last 10 years and I just listen to the same playlist full of Mobb Deep and other 90s rappers. But I’m keen to find out if I’m missing out on anything.
