All that and you don't show the inside of the bathroom?

How is that a good bathroom? (Not going after you OP. Just whoever decided that bathroom was special.)
That one guy standing there would require doing that dumb sideways walking thing. That or rub against him or the doors. Worse still because the disabled door is the furthest from the door, making it unnecessarily difficult for them. Plus, good luck getting through in a wheelchair with anyone in the way.
It is clean, I'll give it that. But that is only one metric. The best bathroom would use more than just cleanliness as a factor. It would also include ease of access, stall walls and doors that go floor to ceiling without gaps, an AED, a person giving out mints, artwork, the list goes on.

It’s a hilarious visual to imagine someone going in there with a clipboard, critiquing a public restroom on a measurable scale, and then comparing it across the nation to vote which fucking bathroom is the best. Something literally not one person has really even cared for. Like I’ve never gone into a nice bathroom and went “wow, this should win the best bathroom award”

What amuses me the most is that the man and woman symbols on the award emblem are reversed from the men and women words labeling the bathrooms. Someone relying on pictures instead of English words is more likely to walk into the wrong bathroom because of that award.

I went to an award winning bathroom in Phoenix at an aquarium. You could look at sharks while you washed your hands. I pissed on a walrus (this was a separate occasion).

At the Nashville Zoo, one of the bathrooms is built next to a Tamarin exhibit so they watch you the whole time. I wasn't expecting so it was a fun surprise.
I texted my brother about it because he had been there the month before & recommended we go when we were in town but he didn't mention the bathroom. He replied, "That's not an exhibit. It was just you looking in the mirror." Almost middle aged & I'm still getting the little sister treatment. 😂

That award is off center...

And the men/women icons are backwards to the actual bathrooms. Someone not reading the fine print is in for a bad time.

Omg you're right! They're on the wrong side on the reward as opposed to the pillar. It's also racist they're only white people!

As someone who was just in the Tampa airport a few months ago, I can see why they didn't win in 2023-2026. At least the 2 bathrooms I used weren't well maintained.

I was at a Walmart on the Maine/Canadian border that claimed they were voted the #1 Walmart in the country in 2022~.

I don’t understand why the women and men’s figures being swapped from the names. The image of the man (left) is on the ‘Women’ text side (left) of the bathroom entrance and vice versa. Sorry if I’m missing something, but why not just call it a unisex bathroom if either gender can use either side? Help me out Reddit friends.

That is incredibly impressive considering it's in an international airport and is probably used by thousands of people every day.
