Funny how people have been claiming this nonsense for over a decade, but pictures of it weren't "out there" until AI image generation became convincing.
I think it's just a mixup between the Chiquita Banana Lady and Fruit of the Loom as they had similar commercials at the time with fruit bouncing around.
There are pictures of actual clothes that say “Fruit of the Loom” and have a cornucopia on them. They’re not made by the actual FotL company, but they do have the name on there. It’s an understandable confusion.
I can’t find a single photo online. I went on a Mandela Effect deep dive a couple months ago and read everything I could find about the Fruit of the Loom logo. I remember a cornucopia and my family shopped at K-mart a lot, so the knockoff idea is plausible- except there are still no photos available online of this supposed knockoff logo that haven’t been shown to be fake.
Anyway, if the photos exist I’d love to see it, since as far as I know the only cornucopia logo photos circulating were hoaxes.
The logo on that label is virtually identical to this fake mockup that was freely available online at the time that was posted. I think that’s a fake photo.
