I remember my first grade teacher using the fruit of the loom example to explain to us kids what a cornucopia is when we got a thanksgiving coloring page that was just an empty cornucopia and none of us kids recognized what it was.
So your argument is that there was never a cornucopia in the logo, therefore the teacher did not use the logo as an example of a cornucopia. How did you eliminate the possibility that the teacher incorrectly believed that there was a cornucopia in the logo, like so many other people?
