There’s a lot of this going on at hobby lobby. New stock comes in with higher prices before the old stock is gone, so both end up on the shelves together. Always check behind what you’re buying to see if there’s a cheaper one. I’ve saved a few bucks that way 😂

If it's the same SKU then it should be the same price at the register regardless of what the price says on the bottle

Hobby Lobby goes off what's printed on the bottle. They don't use barcodes because the company owners think they're the Mark of the Devil (like in the Book of Revelations).
Hobby Lobby store brand items don't even have barcodes on them.

i always see them select some type of open item button based on the product category and then key in the price from the label/sticker when i check out. i ended up going with another brand though, so i don’t have a receipt to check

I noticed this with stained glass copper tape at Hobby Lobby. Older ones were $1 cheaper, cashier told me they do it that way since they key in all the items at the checkout.

The higher price will be the new price. The lower price is the older price that will not return once it's sold out. If you buy more than one of the same item with different prices, they usually honor the lower one.

This picture is from Hobby Lobby, where they don’t use barcodes, so the cashier keys in the price listed on the product, not the highest listed price.

noticed this at hobby lobby the other day. they raised the price of their store-brand acrylic paint by 10¢ but didn’t bother to pull the old bottles off the shelves lol
