As long as I remain diligent in applying lotion before going to sleep I can finally avoid my “winter hands”. Cetaphil Eczema Restoraderm Soothing Moisturizer has worked miracles. And I have tried them all!

When I got to bed I slather my hands in lotion put a balm on particularly dry spots and where cotton gloves over them. It's helped tremendously

I haven’t had to use the cotton gloves at night in a while. But at their worst my hands would crack and bleed and stain the gloves. But I did the same slathering on the lotion first. The routine of moisturizing my hands every night is what worked. In the winter if I slack off my hands will crack and bleed in just a few days.

Yeah, mines a mix of dry hands and I'm not a nail biter and pick at my hands a lot so the knuckle on my thumb would crack and bleed and I've slowly been figure out a way to combat the habit so far
