Banned for speaking the truth
I got a 7 day ban simply for stating that they were racist.

Like making Disney characters black, I didn't ask for it, I can bet that like 60% or more people like me didn't ask for it. Y'all can't even shame me for this one, I'm black too. Well brown but still, not the light brown where I literally look white, just normal light brown. But back to the point, I literally hate it, it's pathetic too. Another thing, I hate forced LGBTQIA representation in Disney, when they make a character like that, they make their sexuality their whole thing, I don't see them doing that for a straight character. Like, being gay is just what type of person your attracted to irl, but no, Disney has to exaggerate it and make them hold hands 24/7, no sane irl person holds hands with someone that often. It's like they're trying to force us viewers to know that they support the LGBTQIA. I dunno how to describe this off feeling where they're just making a character for their attraction towards a specific gender. Example, the little mermaid 2023, they removed scenes to make Ariel look like the brave hero, something just seems off. It wasn't even the right hair color. Strange world, 2022. In the film, Ethan’s crush on Diazo is completely, unconditionally celebrated by every adult around him. While intended to portray a supportive family, critics and audiences noted that treating a teenage romance as entirely flawless and without any typical teen awkwardness or friction makes it feel hollow and unrealistic. Luz and Amity went from a brilliant, complex "enemies-to-friends" dynamic in Season 1 to a couple that felt like they were perpetually locked in a honeymoon phase.

why its broken:
google, like many tech giants is leaning further into 2FA and other security and surveillance measures. as a part of this, many of googles features are now locked behind a 'tap yes on your phone to confirm its you' check. one of these features is the session manager in 'security and sign in'. which is where the find my phone feature can be accessed. obviously this is stupid because if I cant find my phone, I also cant access this.
why they broke it:
this isn't just really stupid. its part of a broader move towards people adopting more 2FA methods. this could mean buying more devices (phones, tablets etc) or simply setting up biometrics on your laptop as an alternative to tapping yes on your phone. while this does improve security, the real incentive google has here is surveillance. in all my years of being online, I've never had my google account hacked under the old system, but now I will be increasingly forced to give google my intimate biological ID data and connect my account to more devices so I can be surveilled from multiple different sources. this provides them a much better 'idea' of who I am since data can be considered from multiple inputs and they can know for sure its me when I give them a fingerprint or an eye scan.
why this affects me especially:
I have severe ADHD. I have been absolutely terrible about losing things since childhood. it's something I've been working on my whole life but cant really fix. its affected my academic life, work life, relationships and mental health. implementing google's find my phone feature was one of the biggest positive changes in this process I've ever had. the thing I lose the most is now no longer a problem. I've already given up turning off location data because this feature just improves my life so drastically, it's kind of an accessibility need for me. I know there are many people in the same boat as me and its just sad that tech companies can use our weaknesses to make us give them more data, sell us more ads, censor us more effectively, and generally make the world a scarier place.

Please keep in mind this is in Canada. Only one province (QC) still has a servers wage and the tip credit has never been a thing here. Furthermore, we are well past rewarding service workers during COVID. So I find it bothersome that tipping culture is still a thing here.
I know people will mention they have to tip out other staff, but that’s part of receiving tips. So again, why are we still tipping them so much to begin with? I’ll reward them if I feel the service stood out, but I’m not there to compensate the job.
I’m sure I’ll get the usual remarks. So I’ll do my best to answer them if there’s thought behind it.
EDIT: and to clarify, this is about me being expected to tip.

The term transphobe is so weird nowadays, you get called transphobe so easily, it's like how people throw around the word racist. I have a personal example. I strictly and specifically pointed out a specific group of trans women, the bad apples of the community basically, I wasn't rude. I acknowledged their trauma and mentioned that "their trauma isn't an excuse to bully bio women" but I didn't use cis instead of bio assuming no one would care or mind. They did mind, so over the months I've been adjusting how I word things. I slowly learnt that not everyone will understand that I'm not talking about everyone in the community no matter how clear I make it. To be clear, I don't talk about them often. I've noticed that they fish for a way to call me a transphobe, someone literally told me that they were fishing for it.
