I had such a good Hunter run, along with another Hunter who had a passive that prevented him from missing, a Cleric with a Mini-Me, and a Tank that had a passive allowing him to use “once per battle” items every turn. Took them through the Core, then through The Rift (spoiler for after Core), and this Hunter carried everything. Some rooms he cleared in Turn 1, just by his projectiles bouncing and crit-ing everything. Love when you get a powerful build.

So get this I'm on my last four classes that I need to complete act One impossible on. All of my cats are absolute powerhouses in their own right, everything's going great, I have a crap ton of great skills and passives that I want to add to the breeding pool.

Then I get to the throbbing king, his elite buffs are

• Depressing

• Depressing

• absorbent

All of my cats have 10 to 15 HP, his little poops and stem cats get the same buff which further nerfs my health, and because of brain geyser on a cat with the exposed brain I cannot stop the stem cats from multiplying.

Thanks to my badass druid I managed to survive all the way to phase 2 but then was overrun with stem cats and had to save scum. I will be trying again tomorrow and adjusting my equipment and strategy. I genuinely thought I was done with ever struggling against the throbbing King but boy was I wrong.

It came to me in a dream for what the DLC could include, and I expanded on alternate archetypes for the classes, like mage having elemental aspects and broken legs/thorns tank.

nobody reads the body of text under these posts so uhhhh maybe when I beat the story mode I will make cats based off jojos or something? I don't have too many ideas besides kira, you can make him almost perfectly with just a few spells, only problem is I don't think you can do it legitimately without getting insanely lucky.

I've played a few runs with the necromancer, but I've never been able to make him as strong as people say. I know he has some very strong abilities, like eternal servitude, but even so, he's very dependent on RNG.
