Hello. I have a problem with my BW pictures. I get this grain that is very soft. On medium format i aim for sharp modern look and cant figure out where the problem is. It is a Fomapan 200 developed in Tmax 1+4 @ 5.5 mins. I am scanning on CanoScan 9000F mark 2 @ 4800ppi and use the included plastic holders. for a reference I included a Kodak Gold picture that is very sharp from the exact same process. I dont believe its the fault of the film stock, since there are many pictures on fomapan 200 that are very sharp and high contrast. Should i just use different film?

8 hour hike to Slide Mountain in the dark and half hour shoot naked in the cold but totally worth it!
