Took a trip up to Maine to gorge on seafood and visit Acadia. Driving along the coast on the way back to Portland, I found this road outside Waldosboro going thru a town called Bremen

When Margaret drools over Tuttle’s description in the personnel file Hawkeye wrote, we think, based on his specs and it being in 1951 she’s probably imagining either Rock Hudson, Charlton Heston or Sterling Hayden.

Ever find yourself in Potter's position? What did you do?
When Margaret calls Hammond, and they get him from the dinner, he says Margaret's name out loud. When he says major houlihan, why does Henry not even blink? It's a call for his boss coming from one of his direct reports.

Hey Henry is that your desk? Sending it out to be waxed?
What's it doing up there?
I don't know. It just keeps going up and up...

..but in the case of the military doctors of MASH or any military outfit in general, what comes first, your Hippocratic oath to medicine or any military oaths and is this always the case or are there exceptions?

In one of the earlier episodes he gets his discharge handed to him as long as he signs the form saying hes a gay transvestite.
So what? I mean i understand the 50s werent a friendly time to be a homosexual but hes already walking that path wearing dresses all the time. Shouldn't have been a big deal.

It was a difficult mix between a few.
First and foremost;
Adam's Ribs.
Hawkeye childlike demeanor and excitement are on such a whole display here. Even Trap thinks he's gone totally sideways. It's such an endearing episode in that way, but I do break for him not having that one bite at the end and being pulled away after all that.
The episode Hawkeye has trouble sleeping and starts singing to Radar songs from W2. He begins so somber and dark. And then follows it up with the little short about the Furer, in such a way, it lets you worry just a little less seeing him in there, under the grief.
And finally, the Long John Flap.
It was just a whimsical episode in so many ways. All the prime characters got a spot and played on this one idea in their own ways so well for such a simple episode concept, just to wind back up where it began at the end.

Those two dominated the previous poll, and many wanted more choices, so let’s see how it looks when we take out these two great actors. Again, explain your vote below:

I thought this would be an interesting topic, because let's face it: Henry Blake and others were right in that Frank did bring a lot of the torment he faced from Hawkeye and Trapper or B.J. on himself . . . but, there were occasions where Frank actually really didn't bring such on himself, and the others were just simply being mean to him for the sake of being mean . . . yeah, I know that seems hard to believe, but there are some examples of such. I can think of one glaring example right off the top of my head:
One of the subplots of "38 Across" was Frank playing with one of those little BB games where you roll the BBs around inside a contain and try to get them in each and every little hole. In the episodes closing tag, he finally accomplishes the task, which he said took him three days; he's so proud of himself, and Hawkeye congratulates him . . . by slapping him on the back so hard that Frank loses his marbles (literally). That was just uncalled for; Hawkeye truly was just an unjustifiable jerk in that scene, and even Frank calls him out on it: "Everytime I do something special, you have to ruin it for me!" This is one of those scenes I'm actually glad was often cut from syndication. (I will say this though: I do like how Mike Farrell almost breaks character and nearly breaks up when it happens - just as he takes a bite of food into his mouth).
