Question Question regarding EDITH in VisionQuest Spoiler
First time posting here so not sure if my post fits within the rules but ANYWAYS,, as we all know, back in Spiderman: Far From Home, EDITH was shown to be an AI that has access to Stark's satellite system and is able to launch drones and weapons from there. But later due to the events of FFH no one can use EDITH anymore and the government took the glasses away. Tho years later, as shown in VisionQuest, she now appears to be living inside Vision's mind instead. So this begs the questions: Do you think wether EDITH still has access to Tony Stark's satellite system and is she still able to use it that could potentially help Vision in the future or not? If so then is Vision capable of accessing the satellites on his own since EDITH is essentially part of him?

It’s a fun question.
I would completely make up that she lost access because of the DODC seizure of the Stark assets but if she wanted to she could take it back because she’s a smart AI and would enjoy the risk.

It's a parallel to Wanda's dollhouse version of Westview, no? So Edith has that power but Vision isn't "willing" her to do it, so she can't? Are they even truly autonomous, do we know?

This is giving something interesting to think about. Jarvis was able to self-sacrifice, but did he do it because Vision told him to or was it autonomous? Ultron suggested it, did Jarvis do that because Ultron told him to?

Ultimately i feel like they dont have 100% free will so i think if Vision REALLY didn't want Jarvis gone, he could've stopped it. But why wouldn't he get rid of Ultron instead is the question. Other than "for plot" obviously

He threatens to delete Ultron but I don’t think he can. Ultron flexes his control when he shows that movie about the twins on Halloween. The other AIs might be able to do something similar but they wouldn’t. Jarvis finally does what he wants when he deletes himself.

I’m guessing no one will like my guess here - EDITH is Paladin’s benefactor. She has total control of technology - can see everything- and begged Vision to break free and have adventures. Well, now he’s doing it. I feel that Quentin/Mysterio’s influence gave her an “ends justifies the means” inspiration.

She also disappears frequently, and is always entering conversations coming back from wherever she is.

I think the DODC took the glasses and the drones and they're probably using a different AI for them, so EDITH might not have access anymore.

I thought the implication was that all those AIs aren't the actual AIs, but versions of them that live in Visions mind...

I'm not sure why you'd get that impression. Ultron is clearly the same Ultron from AoU, Vision just saved his consciousness before destroying the last drone which was always a popular fan theory. Jarvis is easy, Vision was made from Jarvis so it makes sense that Vision would still have access to the original Jarvis code. The other Stark AI's were basically just helpers that were likely seized by SWORD and/or Damage Control and then acquired by white Vision at some point.

I’m fairly positive at this point that Vision is going to be reborn into his old self when he eventually absorbs them all throughout the show, which will restore the old personality by integrating all the AIs into one

None of the AI are real. Vision's just batshit crazy. He's not even Vision, just some random guy imagining things.
